Our cottage letting service

We work in partnership with you to maximise the booking potential of the property, whilst imposing very few limits on the time you have it yourself.

We will inform you of any industry changes, news and issues which may be relevant and help you to increase the interest in your cottage, and we will also help you to provide a warm welcome and comfortable accommodation which holidaymakers will find appealing.
The Market
We operate in Kent, Sussex and the West Country. The holiday lets market in these regions is very strong and continues to grow year-on-year; it is set to be heightened with the prospect of the Olympics in 2012.

Preparing Your Cottage
Our brochure is produced in full twice a year and if you would like to be included in the mailing of the new brochure please complete the form on the right and we would be delighted to send you one. As new cottages are coming onto the market all the time, the brochure will not have all holiday cottages that are available in it, but if you are interested in a cottage which does not appear in the brochure we would be happy to send you details, including photographs by post or e-mail if you would like. We make every effort to ensure that the information provided by the owners is presented accurately on our website, in our brochure and in any other promotional material we may use. However, details and prices may be subject to change and errors do occasionally occur, so please check all the details and arrangements with us at the time of booking. Sometimes changes to services or facilities at a property may occur after the booking has been made and in this instance we will let you know as soon as possible.
The property
Our staff have plenty of helpful advice on how to prepare your cottage to best suit the market in order to ensure you receive the greatest possible return. We will come and view your property personally, so that we can speak with knowledge and assurance to holidaymakers, and answer any questions they might have.
We can offer a full furnishing service if required and if you would like a copy of our suggested inventory please let us know and we would be delighted to send it to you.

Marketing Programme:
Mulberry Cottages works hard at its public relations, particularly targeting the national media, with regular press releases and late availability mailings for all our cottages. In the last few months we have had articles written about our holiday cottages in The Daily Mail, The Independent, The Mail on Sunday and ‘Bricks and Mortar’ in The Times.
Advertising our Cottages across the Media
Our holiday properties are advertised regularly in the national press, holiday and leisure magazines and with the National Trust. We also regularly mail out news updates to our established base of holidaymakers.
Advertising our Cottages Online
We market our cottages on-line on our website www.mulberrycottages.com as well as via www.humberts.co.uk. We also pay Google to ensure our website appears under holiday cottages, and we actively pursue an advanced web market strategy, having heavily invested in our website, as well as investing in wider promotion via search engines and banner advertising. We feature a property each week on the website and our staff are happy to discuss with you the possibility of a ‘feature’ for your cottage on this.
Overseas Campaign
Mulberry Cottages actively promotes via overseas websites, notably in Holland, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and Sweden.
