This pretty white washed holiday cottage in Rye, Sussex, has a lovely feeling of light with its charming yet practical furnishings and lovely Sussex views across the marshland in one direction and towards the beaches of Camber in the other!

This self catering Sussex holiday cottage has recently been completed so is in excellent condition throughout yet has been built to a period design. The owners of this holiday cottage in Sussex have tried to think of everything with a Playstation, TV in both bedrooms and comfortable furnishings in creams and beiges.

This luxury holiday cottage is light and sunny and would be an ideal base for a holiday in the Sussex countryside!

Doubloons Holiday Accommodation

The front door leads into a lobby with space for coats and boots. From there a door leads into the sitting room which is light and sunny with attractive laminate flooring. There are a couple of sofas (both of which turn into sofa beds) grouped around the fireplace with a fold-away table and four chairs stored in the utility room. There is a TV with Freeview, and DVD player (with DVD's) in the sitting room, together with a supply of books and games. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, freezer, electric oven and hob. On this floor there is also a utility room with washing machine and microwave and a cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin.

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and TV. The second double room has twin beds, fitted cupboard, TV with Teletext and two-player Playstation (with lots of Playstation games and videos.) There are lovely views across the marshes from this room.

Outside there is a small seating area (nb this is not an enclosed garden), with barbeque, garden furniture and table, and a carport for one car. Further parking is available outside the cottage.

The wonderful sandy beaches of Camber in Sussex are within a seven minute walk from this luxury Sussex holiday cottage with miles of sand and lots to do from kite surfing, wind boarding and land yachting to building sandcastles and lovely walks on this spectacular Sussex beach - with lessons provided if required!

This Sussex holiday cottage is situated near to the smugglers town of Rye which makes a great change of scene with its winding medieval streets, antique shops and tea rooms - a real must! Further afield, Hastings with its wealth of 1066 history is within easy reach of this Sussex holiday cottage along with Dover Castle, Sissinghurst Castle and Battle Abbey which are all truly memorable and worth visiting during your stay in this luxury holiday cottage in Sussex.

Also for those who would like a day out from their Sussex holiday cottage, there are several good links golf courses within a couple of miles of the holiday cottage and day sea fishing and riding can also be arranged during your stay in Sussex. Bikes can also be hired for a cycle inland to explore the wonderful unspoilt countryside of Romney Marsh near Sussex, in Kent.
