The Beach Retreat Holiday Accommodation
The Beach Retreat 2 bedrooms, open plan living/kitchen/dining room, laundry room, 1 bathroom, cloakroom with a wide door suitable for wheelchair use and a guest safe for valuables.
Sitting/kitchen/dining room, Sofa (with sofabed sleeps +2), a TV, with DVD ipod speakers, wifi and a selection of books and games.
Kitchen area with electric oven and hob, extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave. There is also a dining table which seats six comfortably. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and dedicated drinks fridge, with back door leading to the carport.

Bathroom bath with shower over, wc and wash hand basin.
Central heating
Outside there is a small seating area (nb this is not an enclosed garden), with barbeque, garden furniture and table, and a carport for one car. Further parking is available outside the cottage.
Please note: Beach towels are provided for guests in July and August.

Camber Sands is the ultimate sandy beach with a mile long stretch of beach to the south of the smugglers town Rye; ideal for a day out from the luxury holiday cottage in Sussex with the family! The sands stretch as far as the eye can see in both directions and at low tide the sea can be as much as half a mile from the Sussex sand dunes!
Rye, in Sussex, is 5 miles to the north of this self catering holiday cottage and is a wonderful mix of winding medieval streets, antique shops and boutiques and the 'Olde worlde' charm of a port famous for its smuggling. The Sussex town has a water sports centre and tennis courts for you to make the most of during your stay in this Sussex holiday cottage. The unspoilt marshlands of Romney Marsh, in Kent, are beloved of painters for its light and skies lying just north of Camber Sands; hence not far from this self catering holiday cottage in Sussex. Camber Sands is ideal for long country walks and bird watching with the odd stop off at the many village pubs that are scattered throughout the stunning Sussex countryside.
Why not visit the recently opened Jerwood Gallery in Hastings, situated right on the seafront and nestled between the famous Hastings fishing huts and the historic old town. The Jerwood Gallery, little sister of the influential Jerwood Space in London, houses some of the most exciting paintings produced in the 20th and 21stcenturies as well as supporting young artists through its charitable arm, the Jerwood Foundation. It is less than 40 minutes from The Beach Retreat.

Excellent location for the lovely beach and sand dunes. The house is compact and well equipped, we had a great time in spite of the weather.

Excellent location and lovely house. We were very thankful for the generous goodies basket. The children love the dunes and endless beach. Two weeks of excellent weather and visited many places around Canterbury and London which were easy to get to.

Lovely location and very nice house. Enjoyed the beach and cycle tracks to Rye and Lydd. So nice that our dog could come with us. Had some smashing local meals. The neighbours are lovely!

Lovely cottage, beautiful surroundings, we loved Rye the most. Friendly people, wonderful beach. We were sorry to leave, our next holiday home will most certainly not be as cosy and comfortable as this one. The welcome basket was a very nice surprise.
