This weather boarded cottage near Rye is approached through the front door into a small hallway with hanging for coats. This leads into an open plan living area with cream leather seating, coffee table, chest of drawers, seaside prints and a flat screen TV with DVD. There is a fold down dining table with four chairs which you can push to one side when not in use. The kitchen is fully fitted with electric oven, hob, extractor fan, large fridge freezer, microwave and a dishwasher. There is plenty of china, glass and utensils for use during your stay. Leading from the living area is a utility room with separate sink, washer/dryer and also a downstairs WC.
A back door leads from the utility room onto a sunny decked area complete with table and chairs to seat 4.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom has a double bed with two cream bedside tables and modern lamps. In one corner is a console table with small flat screen TV with inbuilt DVD. There is also a large walk in wardrobe and a cream painted chest of drawers. This room is decorated in creams and beiges and is elegant in its design.
The twin room has two single beds with blue and beige striped headboards, bedside table with lamp and a cream painted wardrobe with drawers below.
The family bathroom is modern with bath, power shower over, WC and basin and has a white tiled floor. There are plenty of fluffy towels for your use during your stay.
Hakuna Matata is modern and stylish throughout but practical and perfect for a beach holiday by the sea. Parking for the house is directly outside the cottage beyond the landscaped garden area.
This self catering holiday cottage is located in Camber Sands in East Sussex, Camber is renowned for its long sandy beaches and sand dunes that stretch for as far your eyes can see. When not relaxing on the beach there is so much to do in the local area perfect for keeping the whole family amused.
The historic town of Rye is just 5 miles to the north of Camber Sands and has interesting winding medieval streets full of antique shops, boutiques and a vast array of pubs and restaurants. A working fishing port ensures a constant supply of fresh fish which can be bought directly from the Quay as well as the famous Rye Bay Scallops - a real delicacy.
For water sports, Rye has its own centre where your can sail, windsurf or canoe, and tuition is available for those who want it. For the more adventurous why not have a go at kite surfing, there are several local companies which offer this and it looks so much fun! With two famous golf courses and a tennis club in Rye there is enough to keep all sports fanatics busy for days.
As you venture inland this area of Sussex and Kent boasts many wonderful gardens which are open to the public. Great Dixter, Sissinghurst, Hole Park and Pashley Manor will delight all garden enthusiasts and many hours can be spent exploring these gardens followed by the British tradition of afternoon tea and cakes.
For younger children there are the steam railways at Tenterden and also the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch railway which will transport you through wonderful countryside and give you all a lovely day out. If Castles are what you are after there are three of the most famous castles in Britain only a short drive away, these are Bodiam, Dover and Leeds Castle.
As you can see there is so much to do apart from just the beach, this really is an ideal location for your family holiday and many people return year after year.
