It has a light and sunny aspect and doors to the garden from the kitchen's dining area make it ideal for lazy summer days and al-fresco dining - perfect for your self catering holiday. Camber Sands, with its miles of sandy beach stretching as far as the eye can see is within a five minute walk from this holiday cottage. Some sections of the beach welcome dogs all year round - any four-legged family member will be in their element! There are lots of holiday activities on offer in this area of Sussex near to this holiday cottage, including kite surfing and land yachting or simply building sandcastles, taking long walks and enjoying the views of Sussex.

The White House Holiday Accommodation
The White House: sleeps 8+1 in 4 bedrooms. 1 family bathroom, 1 WC and 1 en suite shower room. 1 kitchen diner and 1 large reception room with balcony. Outside there is an enclosed garden with lawn and patio with table, parasol and chairs. Parking area with space for one family car with further free parking available on the road.
Ground floor:
Hall with cloakroom, WC and hand washbasin.
Dual aspect kitchen diner equipped with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, extractor fan, electric oven and hob, kettle, toaster, microwave and coffee machine. Dining table seats 8. French doors lead to enclosed garden.
Bedroom 4, twin beds (sleeps 2)
First Floor:
Dual aspect sitting room with two sofas, a comfortable armchair and coffee table, electric coal effect fire, flat screen TV, DVD, YouView digibox and Nintendo Wii plus lots of games. WiFi is also available at The White House. French doors lead onto the south facing sunny balcony.

Local Information about Camber Sands, Sussex
This self catering holiday cottage is located in Camber Sands in East Sussex. Camber is renowned for its long sandy beaches and sand dunes that stretch for as far your eyes can see. Relaxing on the beach is wonderful but there is also so much to do in the local area - perfect for keeping the whole family amused.
Approximately three miles from this self catering holiday cottage is the historic smugglers town of Rye, in Sussex. Rye is a real contrast with its winding medieval streets, antique shops, boutiques, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants for you to enjoy during your stay at this Sussex holiday cottage. A working fishing port ensures a constant supply of fresh fish which can be bought directly from the Quay as well as the famous Rye Bay Scallops - a real delicacy which are celebrated during the Rye Bay Scallop Week every February.
Further afield, Battle has a wealth of 1066 history and a fantastic National Trust Centre which is within easy reach of this Sussex holiday cottage. For younger children, there are the steam railways at Tenterden and also the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch railway that will transport you through wonderful countryside for a lovely day out. If castles are what you are after, there are three of the most famous castles in Britain only a short drive away - Bodiam, Dover and Leeds Castle.
For those staying at this self catering holiday cottage in Sussex who like to play golf, there are several good Links courses nearby and sea fishing and riding can also be arranged. As you venture inland this area of Sussex and Kent boasts many wonderful gardens which are open to the public. Great Dixter, Sissinghurst, Hole Park and Pashley Manor will delight all garden enthusiasts and many hours can be spent exploring these gardens followed by the British tradition of afternoon tea and cakes.

The White House is a terrific house, which is even more attractive and spacious than it looks on the photographs. It is well situated near the beach and is ideal for large families or groups of friends. A very nice touch is that lots of books and games are provided, as well as items such as dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, salt and pepper and so on. This means that the guests feel welcomed and provided for, rather than ripped off! We were a big family group, and the house was perfect for us. People can gather in both the large kitchen or living room, and the garden is completely secure for children. I thoroughly recommend this accomodation, and also Mulberry Cottages' service.
