This charming Sussex holiday cottage is on the village green at Winchelsea Beach. The village itself has a very well-stocked modern supermarket and popular village pub, and the green, just a stone's throw away, has a children's play area with swings, slides etc. The beach is just a few minutes walk across the green.
Winchelsea Beach in Sussex is about a mile from the town itself and thus a short distance from this charming English holiday cottage. The Sussex town is steeped in history being one of the largest ports on the south coast in early medieval times. It is approached through an original 13th century arch and most of the cottages in the Sussex town have cellars where smuggled brandy was stored! Tours of some of these smugglers haunts are often available to experience during your stay at this self catering holiday cottage in Sussex.
The wonderful Sussex beaches of Winchelsea (shingle) and Camber (sandy) beyond, surround this holiday cottage in Sussex and are within five minutes with miles of beach and lots of water sports - lessons are available! Also Rye, in Sussex, with its winding cobbled streets, antique shops and tea shops is well worth a visit during your stay at this self catering holiday cottage in Sussex.
Further inland there are several National Trust places to visit during your stay at this Sussex holiday cottage, including Sissinghurst and Bodiam Castle; both of which are not far from this English coastal holiday cottage in Sussex.

What an amazing house! Even more glorious in real life than the website suggests. We have had the most magnificent time in the most idyllic setting. It has felt like living in a swanky interiors magazine but with the comfort of the home from home. We all want to come back!
Thank you from a bunch of very happy and relaxed Brighton ladies. November 2012.
