This well presented but compact self catering holiday cottage in Kent has been cleverly arranged to make the most of its size! This Kent holiday cottage has a lovely aspect across the beautiful landscaped gardens of the complex and would make an ideal base for a holiday in Kent.
The owner of this self catering holiday cottage in Kent has made the holiday cottage cosy and warm and the patio doors allow the sun to stream into the Kent home in the mornings.
The bedrooms of the Kent holiday cottage are in the eaves of the Kent home so head room is restricted but the owner's attention to detail with high quality linen throughout would make your stay in Kent a comfortable one.
The self catering holiday cottage is set in lovely Kent grounds, with a picnic area and lots of room for children to play. There is also a tennis court, a meadow with koi/carp lake and a stream for you to make the most of during your stay at this holiday cottage in Kent. This Kent holiday cottage is wonderfully positioned on the edge of Romney Marsh in Kent, and hereby the self catering holiday cottage is in easy reach of some of the most spectacular coast in Kent.
We would ask because of the stream and lake that all
children are supervised at all times.
The front door leads through to a hallway with staircase to first floor. A door from the hallway leads into the sitting room with leather modular seating comprising 3 seater, corner unit and chair, TV, DVD and Freeview, storage heater, dining table and chairs for four and patio door leading to the patio garden.
The compact galley kitchen leads off this room with washing machine, electric cooker, fridge and microwave. Also on this floor is the shower room with shower, wc and basin.
Stairs to the first floor lead to two double bedrooms. The first double bedroom has a 4' 6" double bed with bedside cabinets and table lamp. Hanging space is in the airing cupboard on the landing. The second bedroom has two twin beds, length on, in the eaves of the cottage so head room is very restricted for adults.
Outside the cottage has its own patio garden with tables and chairs and a barbeque, together with use of the landscaped gardens including picnic table, stream, meadow with koi/carp lake and tennis court.
This self catering holiday cottage is situated in Ashford, Kent. The holiday cottage is just outside the Kent village of Ruckinge with its popular village pub (about 10 minutes walk away). The Kent village itself is on the very edge of Romney Marsh, renowned for its walks and a birdwatchers paradise with its large variety of bird life attracted to this unspoilt marshland area that has hardly changed since medieval times.
The long sandy beaches of this part of Kent are within a twenty minute drive from the self catering holiday cottage; here the sand stretches as far as the eye can see. There are many water sports available for you to undertake during your stay at this holiday cottage in Kent, and it's a great place to visit all year round. Details of water sports lessons are available on the 'things to do' section of our website. For children the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Light Steam Railway that winds its way along the Kent coast is a truly special day out from the luxury holiday cottage in Kent - or a way to get to the beach as it stops in several spots very close by!
For those staying in this Kent holiday cottage who like to golf, there are some wonderful links courses at Littlestone, Rye and Sandwich. The Kent towns of Tenterden and Rye are both within a few miles of this holiday cottage and here there are many individual shops and boutiques, coffee shops and antique markets making these Kent towns a lovely place to explore during your stay at this holiday cottage. For garden enthusiasts staying at this holiday cottage in Kent, both Sissinghurst Castle and Great Dixter are within forty minutes together with several castles and National Trust properties for a fun day out in Kent.

Heating is included in the rental. Refundable security deposit of £75 payable. One parking space only available with the cottage. Dogs welcome at a charge of £20 per week per dog. (Sorry no cot or highchair available at this cottage.) Short breaks of 2, 3 or 4 nights available at a cost of 75% of the weekly rental.
