Luxury and unique holiday cottage in this truly rural location at the foot of the North Downs in an area of Outstanding natural beauty, perfect for walking holidays. This lovely holiday cottage with a view of fields and woodland with nature all around would be a great option for a family holiday. It is possible to see deer grazing in the field outside the cottage. Furnished to a very high standard this holiday cottage is light and spacious offering a good standard of self catering holiday accommodation. Cottage near to Ashford with its wealth of restaurants and shopping opportunities, such as the Ashford Outlet Centre.

The Barn, Fishponds Cottage Holiday Accommodation
The Barn at Fishponds sleeps 4, in 1 bedroom, 1 open plan reception room, 1 shower-room, parking for several cars beside the barn, patio with table and seating for two, uninterrupted country views.
Approached from the shared drive, single level property accessed directly into the living area.
Open-plan living space, double height, with two sofas seating 4(one is a sofa-bed to sleep 2), table and chairs to dine for 4, TV, DVD (with selection of DVD's), Freeview, Ipod docking station
Kitchen area is fully-equipped with washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave, electric hob and oven, and extractor fan.
The shower room has walk-in shower, basin, radiator and wc.
Bed Configuration:
Double bedroom, (sleeps 2), double bed, chest of drawers,fitted cupboard. (Hairdryer also supplied for your convenience.)
Outside there is a private patio area with table, chairs and a barbecue and access to fields and woodland totaling 11 acres which guests are able to enjoy. The field has chickens, guinea fowl and a pond.
Bicycles are available at no additional charge, together with two cycle helmets and a bike carrier for a car.

The Kent village has a good pub ten minutes walk from the self catering holiday cottage, and there are wonderful walks in all directions for guests to enjoy during their stay in Kent.
The owner of this luxury holiday cottage in Kent can arrange clay pigeon shooting by arrangement and there is good cycling on and off-road in the vicinity for you to make the most of during your stay in Kent.
The cathedral city of Canterbury is 10 miles to the north of this holiday cottage which is well worth a visit whilst you are in the Kent area. If you are looking for a beach, the Kent holiday cottage is about 20 minutes from Hythe with its old-fashioned charm and long promenade, a fun day out in Kent for all the family!
As Kent has more castles than any other county there are lots to visit during your stay at this luxury holiday cottage - particularly the beautiful moated Leeds Castle, and Dover Castle with its wonderful historic battlements and the secret World War II chambers dug into the white cliffs.

On this our second visit, we have confirmed our previous thoughts, a beautiful, quiet, idyllic setting, complete privacy but yet so near lovely places of interest. We have had a lovely holiday and visited many places such as Tenterden and travelled on a steam train and also the historic village of Wye. The owner can arrange clay pigeon shooting - please advise at time of booking if this is required. The electricity is on a pay meter and we would ask that you bring £1 coins with you, although the owner will put a stock in the machine prior to arrival. (The owner estimates a cost of approximately £8 for a week's usage of electricity during winter.) Refundable security deposit of £50 payable. We regret that no cot or highchair are provided at this property. Sorry no short breaks available at this property. Strictly no pets allowed at this property.
