This Charming oast house holiday cottage has been lovingly restored to offer self catering accommodation. Within a couple of miles of the historic cathedral city of Canterbury it would make an ideal base for site seeing or exploring. This very English cottage has lots of character and with a cosy open fire in winter and pretty cottage garden in the summer makes a lovely choice. The main bedroom is a good size with pretty wrought iron bed and crisp linen. The seaside town of Whitstable with its quaint shops and restaurants is close by.

This charming Canterbury holiday cottage is nestled in a lovely peaceful position right in the heart of the charming and very historic village of Harbledown in Kent. Harbledown is renowned for being one of the last stop-off points for medieval pilgrims making their way to the Kent town of Canterbury.

The front door of this cottage in the Canterbury area leads into a hallway with space for coats and boots and a guest cloakroom with WC and basin. The sitting room has two sofas grouped around the working fireplace and patio door to the garden beyond. This room has TV with Freeview and DVD player. Double doors lead to the dining room with ample room for seating 6 at the round pine table.
The kitchen of this self catering accommodaiton is well fitted with Neff oven, microwave and hob, large Neff fridge/freezer, Bosch dishwasher, washing machine and ample cupboard storage.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms, the main bedroom with king size painted wrought iron bed, large fitted wardrobe and dressing table. The second has two Victorian single brass beds and clothes cupboard. The third has a wooden captain's bed and cupboard. All beds have crisp cotton sheets and comfortable duvets. There is the option of a sixthbed - either a foldaway or a 3' pullout under bed.
The bathroom has bath with shower over with glass screen, WC, basin and shaver socket. The cottage has gas central-heating.
Outside the Canterbury holiday cottage there is a fully enclosed garden with patio area, tables and chairs and a barbeque. Parking for one car on the driveway with further free parking available for several vehicles in the country lane close to the property.
This holiday cottage is located in Harbledown, a Kent village within 2 miles of Canterbury city centre and was traditionally the last stopping place on a pilgrim's journey to Canterbury. Canterbury is a lovely medieval Kent city with the very best of both worlds!
