The front door is at the side of the house and leads into a small hallway with door to useful cellar area with washing machine, boiler, and lots of hanging space for coats and boots. The main sitting room is at the front of the house with large windows overlooking the high street. It is furnished in an eclectic mix of antique and modern seating, surrounding a lovely open fire - a really cosy and comfortable room.
Stairs to a half landing lead to the spacious kitchen/breakfast room with dishwasher, butlers sink, electric range cooker and fridge in the kitchen area, and seating for 6 in the breakfast area with a large comfy sofa, armchairs, a log burner, TV, DVD, video and sound system. French doors lead to the garden which is fully enclosed and on two levels.
Up a further half landing leads to the bathroom with roll top bath, wash hand basin and WC (there is no shower). The master bedroom is also on this level, with double bed, open hanging space and lovely views across the surrounding countryside. A couple of steps lead to the galleried area with small futon bed on a platform area beyond.
Stairs lead to the second floor where there are two attractive bedrooms in the eaves, one is a twin bedded room and the other has two mattresses on the floor - suitable for children.
Outside, there is a pretty enclosed garden and parking for one car with further parking available on the village street.
