2 Mill Cottages Summary
Cosy country cottage set in the lovely rural hills of Kent ideal for a peaceful family holiday or walking holiday to experience the beautiful scenery that surrounds the cottage. This luxury cottage has been tastefully furnished to make your holiday a memorable one. As the cottage is near to Canterbury, it makes for an ideal base to explore Canterbury Cathedral or the Canterbury Tales. The cottage is also near The Channel Tunnel for day trips to France and with lovely walks and a children's play area it would be ideal for family holidays or large group breaks. Pets are welcome in this cottage. For larger parties and group accommodation all three Mill Cottages can be combined.

2 Mill Cottages Holiday Accommodation
The kitchen area is fully fitted to the highest of standards (with dishwasher, fridge, extractor fan, electric hob and oven).
There are two double bedrooms, one with twin beds and one with a double bed and a family bathroom with bath, WC and wash hand basin. The washing and drying facilities are in the shared laundry room.
In addition all holidaymakers have the use of the communal games room and childrens play area together with the communal gardens. There is allocated parking for one car with the cottage but further parking is available if required.
Local Information about Ashford, Kent
There are numerous walks and bridle paths throughout the area. Riding stables are nearby; trout fishing and a nine hole golf course are within a few minutes drive.
The complex is in a truly beautiful and rural valley. There are many pubs and restaurants offering local produce and real ale within a 15 mile radius. Hastingleigh village has a traditional pub with a pool table and darts and bar snacks and is about 15 minutes walk. Bodsham, about 5 minutes drive, has a renowned gastropub.
The City of Canterbury and its historic cathedral are within easy reach (11 miles). Ashford (6 miles) has an excellent outlet shopping centre on its ring road. The Channel Tunnel is 10 miles away making day trips to France easy as the crossing takes approximately 35 minutes. There are numerous castles and places of interest to visit all along this historic coast, notably Dover Castle with its dungeons, intact battlements and underground World War 11 caves. Are many sandy beaches with easy access along the Kent coast and you may often find fisherman selling their fresh catch direct from their boats.
There are several championship golf courses within easy reach including Royal St Georges at Sandwich and Cinque Ports at Deal, closer at hand there is both an 18 hole course at the nearby village of Lyminge and a nine hole closer still in the village of Stowting.
