One bedroom holiday cottage with a view of the rolling English countryside within easy distance of historic Canterbury and the Channel Tunnel with access to France for day trips. The charming country cottage has been converted from a barn are in good condition and furnished in fresh creams and greens to coordinate with the surrounding fields, perfect accomodation for birdwatching holidays. The cottage is part of a small complex of Kent holiday cottages and for group accommodation or larger family parties other cottages can be combined to offer you the flexibility you require.

The front door leads into the attractive kitchen/breakfast room with seating for 4. The kitchen is fully equipped (with dishwasher, electric oven, microwave, fridge, extractor fan).
An archway leads through to the sitting room with cream armchairs and green double sofabed, pretty shelving, TV and DVD.
The bedroom leads off this room through an archway, with twin beds, fitted cupboard and door to ensuite shower room (walk in shower, wash hand basin and WC).
Outside there is a designated seating area for the cottage and lovely far reaching views of the surrounding countryside. The cottage has one allocated parking space with further parking available if required.
There are the shared use of the communal gardens, children's play area and the games room. The washing and drying facilities are in the communal laundry room.
There are numerous walks and bridle paths throughout the area. Riding stables are nearby; trout fishing and a nine hole golf course are within a few minutes drive.
The complex is in a truly beautiful and rural valley. There are many pubs and restaurants offering local produce and real ale within a 15 mile radius. Hastingleigh village has a traditional pub with a pool table and darts and bar snacks and is about 15 minutes walk. Bodsham, about 5 minutes drive, has a renowned gastropub.
The City of Canterbury and its historic cathedral are within easy reach (11 miles). Ashford (6 miles) has an excellent outlet shopping centre on its ring road. The Channel Tunnel is 10 miles away making day trips to France easy as the crossing takes approximately 35 minutes. There are numerous castles and places of interest to visit all along this historic coast, notably Dover Castle with its dungeons, intact battlements and underground World War 1 caves. Are many sandy beaches with easy access along the Kent coast and you may often find fisherman selling their fresh catch direct from their boats.
There are several championship golf courses within easy reach including Royal St Georges at Sandwich and Cinque Ports at Deal, closer at hand there is both an 18 hole course at the nearby village of Lyminge and a nine hole closer still in the village of Stowting.
