This Kent holiday barn has just undergone a complete refurbishment to offer an extremely spacious luxury holiday home. The proportions of the Kent holiday barn are huge with high ceilings, picture windows and stunning views of the lakes and farmland in the Kent valley below. This self catering Kent holiday barn is tucked away at the end of a long track in a stunning area of Kent, and would make a really lovely holiday destination for all the family.

Norton Barn is entered through enormous glass doors into the enormous ground floor living space. This is split into areas with a good sized kitchen with all machines including range cooker (gas top, four electric ovens), washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, extractor fan. There is a good sized breakfast bar with stools with more formal dining at a dining table that sleeps 6. If you are renting both halves of the barn the first floor dining table can be moved to make formal dining for 14 on the ground floor.
The seating on the ground floor is in two areas with sofas in both, one is near the entrance to the barn opposite the kitchen and would be ideal for a chat whilst the food is being prepared and the other is in the very heart of the barn by the glass doors leading to the terrace. This area has particularly spectacular views of the countryside that surrounds the property. On the first floor the owners have taken full advantage of the views with a raised window seat and cosy cushions overlooking the valley. The second seating area at the end of the barn incorporates a sofa bed. There is gas central heating throughout. Sky TV provided in Lower Norton Barn.
There are five bedrooms, two doubles and two twin rooms plus a family room with a double bed and two singles. There are two well equipped modern bathrooms; each has marble tiled flooring, walk in shower, bath, WC and wash hand basin.
Outside there is plenty of parking and a large south facing terrace.
This luxury holiday barn is situated in Harbledown, Kent, which is a village within 2 miles of Canterbury city centre and was traditionally the last stopping place on a pilgrim's journey to Canterbury. Canterbury in Kent is a lovely medieval city with the very best of both worlds! The Kent city is a historic cultural centre with two theatres, open air Shakespeare in the summer months in the stunning grounds of St Augustine's Abbey, river trips in punts and walking ghost tours of the City originally founded by the Romans; therefore it seems like an unmissable visit during your stay at this luxury holiday barn in Kent. There are many museums to make the most of during your stay at this holiday barn, also there many historic places to visit with Kent having more castles than any other county in England!
The new Whitefriars shopping development in Canterbury, Kent, offers a good range of boutiques and high street shops with the many smaller medieval streets surrounding the centre offering individual specialist shops for you to explore during your stay at this Kent holiday barn.
For the 'foodies' staying at this self catering holiday barn in Kent, a trip to the Kent town of Whitstable, 5 miles to the north of the city is a must with its tradition of oysters; and of course being the 'Garden of England', the organic fruit and vegetables on offer is second to none.
Riding is available near to this luxury holiday barn in Kent and there are lots of great walks from Norton Barn in the surrounding Kent countryside. Bikes can be hired during your stay at this Kent holiday barn, with several Byways offering excellent off road cycling around Kent including the Crab and Winkle way - a lovely cycle ride for all the family between the Kent towns of Canterbury and Whitstable - with a beach and ice cream at the other end!
