The entire service was clear, straightforward and helpful at the various points when I needed to use the service.
The owner was more than generous in the provisions she left for us. We loved the cottage and were made to feel very welcome at the pub, church and by the neighbors.
December 2012 - Christmas Period
Just spent two lovely weeks at Box Cottage with 2 children. Although the weather was not always good, the cottage was always warm & cosy. Cooking was fun every tool you needed was in the kitchen. I myself ( 1,90 m) had sometimes trouble with the low doors , but that added to the charm of the cottage. Thank you very much!

We arrived at the cottage and there were fresh flowers, basic food items and a small bottle of wine. We really appreciated the owner's thoughtfullness. We are from Australia but if/when we come back to the UK we would love to stay at Box Cottage again. It was a great experience and the people in the village added to our holiday experience. Thank you.

The most charming cottage, warm and cosy. No one renting this gorgeous, delicous cottage could have asked for a better owner/renter. The cottage was spotless and we tried to leave it in the same condition we found it. We both slept well and loved our surroundings, the gardens, the neighbours and the pub. If I had to give Chocolate Box cottage a score from 1-10 it would be 20! We are hoping to come again next year.
