The Manor House is quite amazing, steeped in history it was formerly one of six Manor Houses of Ash and even has a mention in Hasted's History of Kent. With a host of original features including oak beams, leaded windows, herringbone exposed brick work and inglenook fireplaces. It has been beautifully interior-designed with luxurious furnishings and fabrics, wonderful throws on the beds and silk lampshades - every detail has been thought about. It would not be difficult to compare The Manor to a five-star country house hotel.
A special feature must be the stunning drawing room which boasts oak beams and the herringbone brick exposed walls. A fantastic wood burning stove is set within the inglenook fireplace creating a wonderful ambience, perfect for relaxing in on sumptuous sofas after exploring all that the local area has to offer.
The Manor House is set within its own grounds which include orchards, extensive lawns, a charming vegetable garden and natural pond. Surrounded by open countryside with fantastic walks, this property offers so much more to the holidaymaker - the owner is also happy to organise riding, archery and clay pigeon shooting.
The separate games room offers a perfect retreat for teenagers or children with TV, table tennis and even some gym equipment. It is not every day that a property like this comes onto the holiday lettings market, and for those lucky enough to stay here they will not be disappointed!
The house has been rated 5 Star by Visit Britain.
