Wye is a quintessential English village which is in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It boasts a thriving farmers market, every first and third Saturday of the month - this is the perfect chance to stock up on fresh local produce and locally crafted gifts for friends and family.
For those wishing to make a day trip to France, Kent offers both the Eurostar Train at Ashford and the Channel Tunnel at Folkestone which will transport you to a French location in 30 minutes.
A traditional Kent pub is easily reached on a walking holiday, where you can relax in the restaurant and enjoy delicious home cooked food and try some of Kent's finest ales.
Leeds Castle is located about 20 miles from this Kent self-catering holiday cottage and is one of the most beautiful castles in Britain. This holiday cottage is located in the small village of Brook in the heart of the Kent countryside with a popular pub within walking distance of the accommodation. This Kent holiday cottage is full of character and is cosy, with period beams, wooden staircase and galleried landing. The enclosed garden has a vegetable border where you are welcome to help yourself and pick the fresh vegetables.
The generously furnished living area is a perfect place to relax and enjoy this Kent holiday cottage. A special feature of this cottage is the lovely double bedroom which is nestled in the eaves. Windows allow light to flood in and give views over the working farm and the surrounding Kent countryside.
This self catering accommodation in Kent will create the perfect atmosphere to while away time after enjoying all that the local Kent countryside has to offer.
Forstal Farm Cottage is accessed from the gravelled parking area and the main door leads directly into the well equipped kitchen, with modern fittings including a gas hob, electric oven, extractor fan, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is ample dining space around a large round pine table.
A doorway leads into the open plan sitting room with double height ceiling making the most of the stunning exposed beams. This has been traditionally furnished with two comfy sofas and two chairs, giving plenty of seating space. At one end of the living room is a chest with a flat screen TV sitting on top and a DVD player/recorder.
Leading from the sitting room a wooden staircase takes you up to the galleried landing and into the main bedroom. This has a double bed, bedside tables and wardrobe storage. This room boasts plenty of space and light due to the two large slanted windows in the roof and a wealth of exposed beams.
From the sitting room steps lead to an inner hallway with doors to a twin bedded room and the bathroom. The bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, toilet and basin.
French doors lead out from the sitting room into the fully enclosed and secure garden, perfect for families with children, complete with teak table and chairs provided for your relaxation. The garden boasts a large grassed area with vegetables in the border available for you to enjoy during your holiday. Parking is at the front of the cottage.

During the Olympic Games (27th July to 12th August) Southeastern will be operating a Javelin shuttle service using high speed trains from St Pancras International and Ebbsfleet International Stations to the Olympic Park in Stratford. Five trains per hour will run between these stations, with a further two departures from Ashford International each hour and one departure an hour from Faversham. Ebbsfleet International Station is one of the official 'Park and Rail' Services and just 10 minutes by high-speed rail link into the centre of the Olympic Park
Saturday changeover day. Refundable security deposit of £75 is payable. Cot and high chair provided but no bedding supplied for cot. Pets welcome. Short breaks available.
