Willow Court Holiday Cottages Description

This is a charming selection of holiday cottages which is made up of 5 cottages set in wonderful landscaped gardens with play area, communcal charcoal barbeque, koi carp lake and a tennis court for all to use during your stay.

Each cottage offers privacy with its own garden and patio area leading out onto the communal gardens. The rooms are freshly decorated in sunny colours with traditional furnishing to complement the beams and style of these pretty Kent holiday cottages.

The main cottage, Willow Lodge, has three living areas giving all members of the party space to enjoy their holiday in Kent, from the comfortable and peaceful main sitting room with its banks of cream leather sofas and wooden parquet floor, to the spacious conservatory with doors to the terrace beyond. All the kitchens in the holiday cottages in Kent are well equipped, particularly in Willow Lodge which has every conceivable machine and would be ideal for catering for a large group in this self catering holiday cottage.

Outside of the Kent holiday cottages, there are wonderful landscaped Kent gardens to explore with a stream, slide and picnic bench.

Willow Court Holiday Cottages Holiday Accommodation

Willow Lodge holiday cottages sleeps up to 30 and is approached from a shared parking area with ample parking for all with each cottage overlooking the lovely landscaped communal gardens with stream, play area, koi carp lake and tennis court.

Willow Lodge cottage has a porch with space for coats and boots. An inner door leads into the hallway with guest cloakroom and utility cupboard housing the washing machine and dryer. An archway leads into the main sitting room with parquet floor, L shaped leather sofas and chaise longue, inglenook fireplace with log burning stove, 32" widescreen HD TV/DVD and Freeview. A pair of doors leads from this room into Bedroom 5 with orthopaedic single bed and ensuite shower room comprising shower and basin.

From the hallway there are two steps up to the kitchen with dishwasher, electric hob and oven, extractor fan, American fridge freezer with ice maker and filtered water, microwave oven and radio. The conservatory can be reached from the kitchen or via two steps from the hallway. This room has dining for 12 in addition to several armchairs and double doors to the decking area with seating. The study/library leads off the kitchen with sofabed, TV cabinet with TV, DVD and Freeview, open fireplace and stairs to the first floor.

On the first floor there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has large oak kingsize bed, dressing table, fitted cupboard, chest of drawers, single bed and 21" Freeview TV/cabinet. A door from this room leads into the ensuite bathroom with bath, shower over, wc and basin. Bedroom 2 is a double room with ornamental fireplace, fitted cupboard, dressing table and chest of drawers, bedside tables, lamps and iron corner unit. Bedroom 3 is a twin room with fitted cupboard and combination chest of drawers/dressing table. Bedroom 4 has a single bed with further single under so the room can sleep 2, bedside table, lamp and tallboy. There is a family bathroom on this level with bath, shower, wc and basin.

The Hereford cottage has a front door leading into a hallway with staircase to first floor. A door from the hallway leads into the farmhouse kitchen with quarry tiles floor, table and chairs for 8, dresser, and large understairs storage cupboard. The kitchen equipment includes fridge, freezer, electric cooker, washing machine, microwave, and dishwasher. There are three steps up from the kitchen into the carpeted sitting room with log burning stove, 32" flatscreen HD TV/DVD with Freeview. This room has patio doors to the private patio garden and an L shaped bank of brown leather sofas together with a matching two seater double sofa bed with sprung base.

Upstairs, there are three double bedrooms and two bathrooms in the eaves of the cottage so head room could be a problem. The master bedroom has kingsize bed, Tallboy cupboard, bedside tables and electric panel heater with door to ensuite bathroom with bath, shower over, wc and basin. The second bedroom has twin beds, chest of drawers, radio and electric panel heater and the third bedroom is also a twin room with bedside table and electric oil radiator. The family bathroom has bath, shower, wc and basin. Outside the cottage has its own patio garden with tables and chairs.

The Highland cottage front door leads through to a hallway with staircase to first floor. A door from the hallway leads into the sitting room with leather modular seating comprising 3 seater, corner unit and chair, TV, DVD and Freeview, storage heater, dining table and chairs for four and patio door leading to the patio garden. The compact galley kitchen leads off this room with washing machine, electric cooker, fridge and microwave. Also on this floor is the shower room with shower, wc and basin.

Stairs to the first floor lead to two double bedrooms. The first double bedroom has a four foot double bed and two mirrored wardrobes and the second bedroom has two twin beds, length on, in the eaves of the cottage so head room is very restricted for adults. Outside the cottage has its own patio garden with tables and chairs.

The Jersey cottage leads through into a hallway with space for coats and boots. This leads into the sitting room with dining table and chairs for 2, sofa and chairs, pine welsh dresser, log burning stove, TV and Freeview and patio doors to the private garden. The kitchen has fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven and washing machine. Stairs from the hallway lead to the first floor double bedroom with four poster bed, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table, and door to ensuite bathroom with bath and shower over, wc and basin. Outside there is ample space on the patio area with seating.

Gingerbread Granary cottage, the front door leads into an entrance hall with stairs to the first floor. A door leads into the kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and fridge, with an archway (mind your head!) leading into the sitting room with electric log fire and sofas and chair grouped around the 21" Freeview TV. There is dining for 4 and patio doors lead onto the private garden with seating. A door from this room leads into the bathroom with bath, electric shower over, wc and basin, and utility cupboard housing the washing machine. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms in the eaves (please note there is restricted head height). The main bedroom has double bed, bedside tables and lamps and Bedroom 2 is a twin room with bedside table and lamp.

Outside all the cottages have the use of the communal gardens including a tennis court and meadow. There is a communal charcoal barbeque provided.

Local Information about Ruckinge, Kent

These self catering holiday cottages is situated close to the village of Ruckinge with its popular village pub (about 5 minutes walk away). The Kent village where these holiday cottages are situated is on the very edge of Romney Marsh which has wonderful walks through Kent both along the canal and through the local woods, which are full of bluebells in May.
