This pretty period English holiday cottage is nestled in the heart of the conservation area of the city of Canterbury, Kent. This self catering cottage is neatly arranged over three floors benefitting from a pretty courtyard garden, it has been lovingly restored, furnished and decorated to a very high standard. It is a perfect base to discover Canterbury's historic sites and experience its vibrant and lively city life by day and night, and of course the excellent shops!

Brewer's cottage has a lovely welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step through the front door; it makes the most of the original features such as the oak panelling and exposed brickwork. This self catering holiday accommodation also benefits from a log burning stove which makes this a warm and cosy place to nestle into the comfy sofas after a day's sightseeing. This self catering accommodation has recently fitted bright modern kitchen which opens directly onto a pretty courtyard garden, ideal for relaxing after a day out discovering Kent's wonderful attractions. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished with the high quality beds and lovely Egyptian cotton bed linen, the master bedroom at the very top of the cottage has a real wow factor with views across the city to the Cathedral and a magnificent vaulted ceiling.

Brewer's Cottage Holiday Accommodation

There are three steps up to the front door of this lovely cottage which opens directly into a lovely sitting/dining room. This room is tastefully furnished with two two seater sofas, one brown leather and one a sumptuous lavender coloured crushed velvet, there is a contrasting armchair which coordinates the whole colour scheme beautifully. The dark wood dining table and four handsome high backed leather dining chairs complete the scene and would make the perfect setting for that special meal with friends and family. There is a flatscreen TV with Sky and DVD in the sitting area. The lovely original fireplace has a wood burning stove is ideal to curl up in front of on a winters evening. From this room there is a steep staircase to the floors above.

There are attractive half glazed double doors that lead into a bright well fitted contemporary kitchen with clean white units, the mosaic tiles are particularly attractive pink and blue lustre which complements the pretty china and matching glassware. There is a single gas oven and hob, fridge and washing machine. This room open directly onto a special little courtyard garden ideal for a summers day lunch or supper. The courtyard garden is furnished for four with an attractive table, parasol and directors chairs following the blue and pink theme from the kitchen.

One the first floor there is a charming twin bedroom overlooking the front of the property, it is well furnished and has attractive duck egg blue and white Egyptian cotton bed linen with lovely matching lamps and curtains, there is a built in wardrobe, and a matching chaise, and bedside table.

On this floor there is a modern white bathroom with cast iron roll top bath with shower over, a wash hand basin, mirror and WC.

Steep steps lead up to the master bedroom, this room is like a little haven and certainly provides the wow factor; it is decorated in stylish white with duck egg blue, white Egyptian cotton bed linen and black accessories. Look up and enjoy the old vaulted ceiling and take in the view of the cathedral, which is beautifully lit up at night, from the pretty window. There is a sleek and shiny black dressing table, two beside tables with striking black bedside lamps and a clothes hanging unit.

Please be aware that there are steep steps to the first and second floor of this lovely cottage which are in keeping with a house of this period.

Parking for the property is in long term public car park on Watling Street.
