This Kent holiday cottage is situated in the small hamlet of Petham, just three miles from the historic city of Canterbury, steeped in history with an abundance of things to do and see.

It is tucked away down a private country lane with its own driveway and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Capel Cottage is a haven of peace and quiet and has a lovely light and airy feel with cream painted walls, tiled floors and unusual and quirky antiques completing the scene.

Capel Cottage Holiday Accommodation

Capel Cottage is approached via its own private drive, leading up to a large gravel parking area for several cars. The front door leads into a light and airy entrance hall with a large utility room to the left fully equipped with washing machine and tumble dryer for use during your stay in Kent.

The dining room is beyond and is furnished with a large wooden table and chairs which comfortably seats 7 people, perfect for a family meal. Cream drapes compliment the large windows and wall lights add a cosy feel to the room.

A door leads from the dining room into bedroom four which is a single and has pretty floral bed linen and cream coloured curtains. A large chest of drawers offering plenty of storage throughout your stay and a bedside table with pretty floral lampshade finish the room off perfectly. The bedroom looks out over the south facing garden.

The fully equipped kitchen leads from the dining room and includes an electric oven, electric hob, extractor fan as well as a microwave and dishwasher - perfect for entertaining. The kitchen overlooks acres of picturesque rolling countryside.

The spacious lounge leads off from the dining room and is divided into 2 separate areas, the first is a snug nestled in the corner of the room surrounded by a selection of books, perfect for book worms. An ornamental fireplace is the focal point of the lounge and is surrounded by comfortable sofas with cream coloured throws. Cream coloured drapes adorn the windows which offer spectacular views of the large garden and its surroundings. Attractive table lamps and unusual mirrors situated around the room give the room a luxurious feel. There is also a TV DVD and X Box games console for your enjoyment during your stay.

The staircase leads from the sitting room onto a spacious landing with 3 further bedrooms. The Master bedroom to the right of the landing has a beautiful white Victorian four poster bed dressed with crisp white cotton bed linen, a bedside table and lamp as well as wall lights add a touch of romance to this charming room. A double fitted wardrobe offers plenty of storage space during your stay. The ensuite bathroom has a bath with shower over, a wash hand basin and a wc.

Bedroom number two is situated further along the hallway and has pretty wrought iron twin beds with crisp floral linen, a bedside table and lamp, this bedroom also benefits from a large built in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. There are attractive views across overlooking the pretty back garden.

Bedroom number three also has twin wrought iron beds with floral bed linen, wall lights and a large chest of drawers, this bedroom also overlooks the back garden.

The family bathroom on the first floor is fully equipped with bath and shower over a wash hand basin and wc.

This self catering holiday home is situated on the outskirts of the pretty rural Kent village of Petham which is within three miles of the Medieval City of Canterbury. With wonderful historic buildings to visit during your stay in Kent, Canterbury offers so much for the tourist with theatres, a new shopping centre and of course the Cathedral to mention just a few.

This self catering holiday house is surrounded by open Kent countryside with footpaths to explore the local area and visit the many charming pubs. It is even possible to walk into Canterbury which is about three miles away from this holiday let in Kent.

Further afield from this holiday house there are wonderful Kent gardens to explore including Goodnestone, Sissinghurst and Great Dixter.
