Cottage Guestbook

What a lovely, cosy holiday home. We enjoyed our stay very much , walking along the seafront (though quite windy!) and strolling along the little high street. Thank you.
The Bewick Family, September 2011
We have very much enjoyed our stay at this well-appointed and well-equipped holiday home. It is good to see the sugggestion of previous occupants have been heeded and we have taken full advantage of both the sieve and potato peeler! The pub over the road is a real gem, especially for a real ale fan like me. A couple of recommendations for shopping: the fruit and veg shop in the High Street is excellent, as is Griggs, the fishmonger on the beach.
The Leakey Family, August 2011
We were delighted by the English seaside, the great weather (only one day of rain!) and the comfort you have provided for us at Windmill Cottage. We were especially fond of the conservatory and pleasantly surprised by the welcome basket. We went to Canterbury on the rainy day, to the pebbled beach every day and even took the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway to St Mary's Bay, which is the smallest train we have ever seen (a thrilling experience for my four year old son)! It is also worthwhile visiting Brockhill Country Park and the Rare Breeds Centre in Ashford. We thank you for your hospitality and we enjoyed our visit very much.
The Stolk Family, Holland, August 2011
The family felt very much at home. Windmill Cottage is nicely furnished and we certainly appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the welcome basket. We certainly weren't short of things to do - favourites were the dodgems at Dymchurch, rowing on the canal, the Lighthouse at Dungeness and fish and chips on the beach. All in all, a lovely seaside holiday!
The Hammond Family, July 2011
Thank you for your hospitality. Going to the Open was great fun and playing golf locally was as expected.
Mrs McConnell, July 2011
Very comfortable and very peaceful. Totally exhausted as we have been doing so much - the mediaeval bone collection at the local church of St.Leonard's is a must!
Mr Upton, June 2011
What a wonderful cottage, beautifully furnished and comfortable. Everything we could want was there and more. Hythe is, a lovely location for a family holiday, plenty of attractions close by.
