Property was very stylish but also comfortable. Nice touches included welcome tray of wine, biscuits, snacks. Gorgeous views and enjoyed taking walks in the owners surrounding fields.

Our stay was fantastic. The cottage was lovely and the owner was extremely accommodating. The location was beautiful and very close to Canterbury. We couldn't have had a better time, and only wished we would have stayed longer!

We had a lovely three night break in this newly converted barn. Very spacious with a homely feel. Lots of places around to visit and Cantebury just three miles away. Would recommend and we hope to come back some time.

Wonderful cottage and location! The views & walks from the cottage were just beautiful & it's such a tranquil place, but with easy access to Canterbury. The owners were friendly & so helpful. Thank you Richard & Annie. We returned home relaxed & refreshed, & would love to stay here again .

We had a great time. The cottage was great and we had everything we needed. The owners (also German speaking) were very friendly and made us feel at home. Although the owners are living on the same property privacy was granted. If you're lucky you'll have fresh eggs for breakfast.
Fam. Van Dartel - Netherlands, August 2011
We enjoyed our stay at Nightingale Cottage so much, thank you! The rural location was perfect and the cottage provided us with everything we needed; most importantly comfort!
Mr F.R.L., July 2011
Both your brochure & website are excellent & made it very easy to look for late availability. Website is quick to use & provides really good info & photographs. High standard just like the property we rented.
Mrs N.B., July 2011
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nightingale Cottage. Petham was the perfect setting for our holiday and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was just what we needed. We also had a fabulous day out in Canterbury (which was incredibly lively in comparison)! We look forward to returning one day soon.
