Kingsgate Castle Apartment Description

This stunning apartment is found within Kingsgate Castle on the cliffs above Kingsgate Bay in Broadstairs. This picturesque Castle was built for Lord Holland in the 1760's. The Castle is situated in three acres of communal gardens and grounds that boast stunning sea views. A special feature of this apartment is the large patio area and garden that have superb views of the beach and sea, many an hour could be spent gazing out to sea and with views like this you can understand why this area of coastline has been so important in the history of the British Isles. This pretty self-catering apartment has large windows that surround the apartment allowing light to flood into the rooms and all have lovely views of the gardens. There are two double bedrooms in this apartment and a lovely family bathroom with bath and shower overhead. All in all this Kent holiday home has the real wow factor, pretty as a picture, spectacular seas views and a convenient location to get to all the impressive Kent tourist attractions.

Kingsgate Castle Apartment Holiday Accommodation

This stunning Kent self - catering apartment has its own private entrance. The apartment has a private parking space, small steps leading down to the front door with a pretty flowerbed surrounding the entrance.

As you enter the Kingsgate apartment on your left is the compact but fully fitted kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and washing machine. A small table and chairs within the room is the perfect place for some breakfast. The hallway has beautiful high ceilings and stone floor giving a very spacious feeling. The first impression of this apartment is that you have arrived at a luxurious but comfortable base for your stay.

Down the hallway on the left you will find the second bedroom with twin beds dressed in crisp cotton bed linen, bedside tables and lamps as well as unusual pieces of artwork adorning the walls finish the room off beautifully.

The lounge is decorated in neutral colours and has 2 very large windows overlooking the garden and patio where you can sit and admire the beautiful views out over the bay. There is plenty of seating with a large sofa and armchair grouped around a coffee table; in the corner near the large windows is a glass dining room table, perfect for a romantic meal. There is a TV with freeview provided for your use during the stay.

The master bedroom is decorated in calming pastel shades of green with large windows and beautiful views out into the garden. A king-size double bed dressed in luxury cotton bed linen, bedside tables and pretty lamps give the room a luxurious feel. There is double wardrobe in the master bedroom providing plenty of hanging space during your stay.

The family bathroom is decorated with striking blue tiles, which reflect the blues of the sea. The bathroom is fully equipped with bath and shower attachment over, WC and wash hand basin. Fluffy cotton towels are provided for use during your stay.

Outside is a very pretty large garden with 3 separate seating areas all with stunning sea views, the perfect place to relax and unwind with a glass of wine after a busy day at the beach.

Local Information about Broadstairs, Kent

This picturesque apartment is located next to Kingsgate Bay, a quiet and secluded sandy beach approximately 150 meters long. A great bay for those who like to get away from it all and have a bit of space to themselves, with some of the best examples of sea caves in the country.

North Foreland Golf Club is directly opposite the Kingsgate Castle is an unrivalled chalk course offering all-year golf coupled with stunning scenery and breathtaking views of the sea from every tee and green. It was founded in 1903 and steeped in history the course is situated on the Kent coast at the point where the English Channel meets the North Sea. Originally a 9 hole course, in 1912 Fowler and Simpson were employed to design the existing full 18 holes so enjoyed by so many to this day.

Broadstairs is very picturesque; full of quirky little lanes with tiny flint houses and fishermen's cottages nestled together. There are an abundance of unusual small shops, quirky jewellery, unusual clothes and plenty of lovely local food.

There are plenty of charming gardens, great for relaxing in with a delicious ice cream. The beautiful coastline boasts 15 sandy beaches and bays which have been awarded3 Blue Flags and7 Quality Coast Awards, one of which is Joss Bay which is a sandy bay approximately 200 meters long, popular for surfing with Joss Bay Surf School situated there for hire surf boards and wetsuit hire and lessons.
