This lovely peaceful Kent setting is surrounded by acres of glorious parkland on the North Downs and yet within just a few miles of motorway connections leading to the beautiful Kent coastline and the Channel Tunnel for visits to France makes this holiday cottage in Kent an ideal place to base your stay.

This English country cottage in Kent has been furnished to the highest of standards with open plan living space neutrally decorated in shades of cream with comfortable brown leather sofas giving the room a very cosy and comfortable feel. The master bedroom has a king size bed and overlooks the stunning countryside, bedroom 2 has twin beds, perfect for children or adults alike. The cottage even has its own spacious garden, complete with table, chairs and parasol, the owner has also provided a bbq for use during your stay, the perfect place to sit and enjoy a glass of beer or pimms after a day exploring the beautiful Kent countryside. Buckholt Park Cottages is a charming holiday complex in an idyllic Kent setting and would make your stay in this part of Kent truly memorable.

For equestrian enthusiasts this is the ideal place to base your stay. Buckholt Park Cottages offers top class equestrian facilities including state of the art stables and outdoor sand school as well as numerous countryside hacks right on your doorstep. The owners are very happy for holiday makers to bring their horses (on a DIY livery basis) on holiday to enjoy the miles of bridle paths and will only charge a small fee of £25 per horse per stay.

As you drive long the beautiful sweeping driveway of this pretty holiday cottage you will feel relaxed before you reach the cottage, surrounded by acres of spectacular parkland. An oak front door leads you into an open plan, light and airy kitchen/ dining area complete with brand new modern appliances including electric oven and hob, extractor fan, washing machine, microwave oven and fridge freezer. A comfortable dining table and chairs to seat 4, along with a few extra touches to make this holiday cottage feel like home, there is a good selection of crockery, cutlery and glasses to enjoy a meal with family and friends after a day exploring the local area. The sitting area is freshly decorated in shades of brown and cream, comfortable leather sofas, tables with lamps and a stylish rug on the floor give the room a very cosy feel whatever the weather. A TV and DVD player have been provided for use during your stay. French doors lead from this room to the garden. A perfect place to relax, have a barbeque and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and views of the beautiful parkland all around.

There are 2 cosy bedrooms on the first floor, the master bedroom has a double oak bed dressed with petty cotton bed linen, bedside tables and lamps complete the room beautifully. Bedroom 2 has twin beds with white cotton bed linen, bedside tables and lamps give the room a peaceful feel. A fitted wardrobe on the landing offers plenty of storage for both rooms during your stay.

The modern white bathroom has a bath with shower over, a square sink with vanity unit, shaving point and a small mirrored cabinet. The owner has provided fluffy white towels for your use.

Although guests are welcome to enjoy looking at the horses they are requested not to feed them and to keep pets under strict control.

Cot and Highchair available.

Pets allowed, 2 well behaved dogs are welcome, however they would be housed in the stables and not permitted in the cottages.

DIY horse livery @ £25 per horse per stay

Saturday changeover during high season, short breaks available outside of high season.
