Holiday Cottages in the Poole, Bournemouth and Wareham area

A bustling Quay, the best beaches in England and the stunning natural harbour make Poole a wonderful holiday cottage destination. Poole is a large English coastal town on the South Coast and many attractive holiday cottages can be found along this magnificent stretch of coastline. One of the most popular holiday cottage locations in the world is Sandbanks, a small sand spit at the mouth of the harbour. Poole harbour is noted for its ecology and along with Brownsea Island it is a fantastic holiday cottage destination for nature lovers. Brownsea Island is a peaceful island of woodland and heath, a lovely idea for a day trip during your cottage holiday. Poole Harbour is also a great yachting destination and many watersports are on offer for those seeking a more active holiday. Poole is also home to a beautiful blue- flag beach perfect for a family beach holiday.

Wareham is a small market town at the western end of Poole harbour, situated between the rivers Piddle and Frome. Holiday Cottages in Wareham tend to be more tranquil destinations, and holidaymakers can take a boat from the quay, explore the footpaths and spot a great deal of wildlife surrounding their holiday cottages in Wareham. The town still retains its earth-embankment Saxon town walls but the majority of the buildings and holiday cottages date from the 18th and early 19th century.

Bournemouth is a vibrant cosmopolitan town with sparkling sea and beautiful golden beaches- everything you could ever want for your holiday cottage destination. A vast variety of shops and restaurants, endless countryside offering peace and relaxation, beautiful award-winning gardens and water sports galore are here waiting to be explored during your cottage holiday. Bournemouth is home to a wonderful mix of urban cottages in the city itself, rural cottages situated in stunning countryside and coastal holiday cottages. If you want a seaside family holiday with plenty of things to do the Poole, Bournemouth and Wareham area is the perfect holiday cottage destination for you.
