Holiday Cottages in the Hastings, Battle and 1066 Country area
The beautiful and historic 1066 Country is an ideal getaway for your cottage holiday. Named after the Battle of Hastings of 1066, its spectacular coast and countryside are littered with relics and ruins from the Norman invasion, providing plenty for you to discover and explore during your cottage break.

Hastings is a popular seaside resort, with a wide variety of holiday cottages both in and around the town. Lovely beachside cottages can be found along the well- known Pelham Beach in Hastings. The villages surrounding Hastings are wonderful holiday cottage destination for those who enjoy escaping to the beautiful countryside. The Edwardian seaside resort of Bexhill-on-Sea, said to have the best climate in England, also has wonderful holiday cottages on the beach and in the surrounding countryside.
