Pets

We are more than happy to take pets in many of our properties at a weekly charge of £20 per pet per week. However, you must have our prior consent and they need to be kept under control and exercised off the premises. Pets are never permitted in bedrooms or on furniture and neither we nor the owners can accept responsibility for their safety. Please do not leave pets in the property unsupervised, as this can result in considerable damage to the property and distress to the pet.

If you have any allergies, you should be aware that ‘Regret no Pets’ in the cottage description does not always guarantee there have never been pets there in the past. Registered guide dogs are allowed in all properties but you should inform us at the time of booking if you wish a guide dog to accompany you.

Short breaks

It is possible to stay in one of our cottages for a short break, should the landlord agree. If you choose to do so the pricing is as follows (unless otherwise stated): -

2 Nights = 60% of weekly rent

3 Nights = 65% of weekly rent

4 Nights = 75% of weekly rent

Please do ring or e-mail us if you have specific dates in mind as short breaks are not available at all times of year.

Brochure details

Our brochure is produced in full twice a year and if you would like to be included in the mailing of the new brochure please complete the form on the right and we would be delighted to send you one. As new cottages are coming onto the market all the time, the brochure will not have all holiday cottages that are available in it, but if you are interested in a cottage which does not appear in the brochure we would be happy to send you details, including photographs by post or e-mail if you would like. We make every effort to ensure that the information provided by the owners is presented accurately on our website, in our brochure and in any other promotional material we may use. However, details and prices may be subject to change and errors do occasionally occur, so please check all the details and arrangements with us at the time of booking. Sometimes changes to services or facilities at a property may occur after the booking has been made and in this instance we will let you know as soon as possible.

The property

You may arrive at the property any time after 3.00pm but please let us know if you will be arriving after 8.00pm so that arrangements can be made for collecting a key, etc. At the end of your holiday we request that you depart by 10.00am. This ensures there is time to prepare the property for incoming guests and your co-operation in this matter will contribute towards a trouble-free changeover.

Special needs

If you have any special needs, such as reduced mobility, please let our staff know at the time of booking so they can advise you on suitable properties.

Access and parking

If car parking is limited we will indicate this in our brochure. Access to many of our rural properties is down a farm track and it may therefore be unsuitable for low slung vehicles. If you have any particular queries regarding this please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff.

Satellite television and mobile phones

If a property has satellite television this will be indicated in the property details, but the number of channels available will depend upon the subscription taken out by the owner. Please also note that some rural locations do not have mobile phone coverage. If this is important to you please ask at the time of booking.

Smoking

Please note that in accordance with current legislation, smoking is not permitted at any of our properties.

Linen

Linen and towels, but not beach towels, are provided in all properties. Linen is changed between tenancies and weekly during tenancies.

Questionnaires

We would be grateful if you would return our questionnaire at the end of your holiday. This feedback is invaluable to us and our owners in order to keep improving on our standards and those of our properties. All returned questionnaires are entered into a prize draw and the lucky winner will receive a bottle of Champagne from us at Christmas!
