We use the latest computerised booking system to match guests to suitable cottages and if they want to chat to our friendly booking team, we are on call 7 days a week to offer in depth help and advice.
Website
Our website works 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for you and your property and is a vital marketing tool for Mulberry Cottages. We have a dedicated IT and marketing team constantly improving and developing it. We use the latest SEO technology (search engine optimization) to ensure we feature high up in the Google online rankings both in the UK and overseas to guarantee your holiday cottage reaches the widest possible market.
The website gives the customer as much information as possible regarding accommodation, facilities and information about the area. Many bookings are placed online rather than over the phone so we work hard to ensure the website promotes your property at its best.
Email marketing
We actively communicate to our loyal customer base by email, letting them know about new holiday homes that have just joined our portfolio, special offers and discounts, events and things to do in the areas we specialise in. These emails are sent to encourage and entice guests to look through our wonderful portfolio of cottages and be tempted to book.
Statistics
Property statistics - Our property managers review statistics regularly for each of our holiday homes to learn and understand trends, and to help you to get the best price and the best booking numbers possible.
Website statistics - Our marketing team constantly monitor the website statistics which allow us to identify trends, analyse online marketing initiatives and see how visitors actually interact with our site. By analysing the statistics we can make informed decisions regarding design improvements and how best to spend marketing/advertising budgets. This will drive targeted traffic to our website resulting in the best possible number of bookings for your cottage.
Annual Brochures
We produce a high quality brochure every year, which features every property we have in our portfolio. We find it is a very effective marketing tool and we receive many compliments about its quality and presentation. Because of the success of our main annual brochure we also produce mini brochures during the year to give a flavour of our cottages and introduce new arrivals. We give these out at events and exhibitions throughout the year both here and in Europe, giving potential guests a taste of what we offer and encouraging them to look at our website. We aim to use the very best photographs possible of each cottage so that they speak for themselves; showing off our handpicked portfolio of properties to their best advantage.
Press Coverage
Through our strong press links we host press visits and have had articles in many national newspapers, blogs, on-line forums and international press many in the past few months. This year alone, we have hosted a Radio 4 programme at one of our holiday cottages and had cottages featured on Channel 4, The Daily Mail, The Telegraph and several magazines in Holland, Denmark and Germany.
Trade Fairs
On your behalf, we attend trade fairs throughout UK and Europe talking to visitors and the international press about our wonderful selection of properties and what our beautiful counties have to offer. Visitor numbers to the stands are enormous and this gives us a real opportunity to talk to potential guests about your cottage, encouraging a constant flow of new visitors to the area.
Social Media
With social networking websites being so popular, we utilise all platforms of social media like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Pinterest. Using these social media websites we are able to increase traffic to the website, develop a group of loyal and dedicated followers/fans and improve our search engine rankings.

We will view your property personally and give you a full and honest appraisal of your holiday home, including everything from advice on furniture, layout and design, to the most appropriate rent band for your property and likely annual income.
