At Mulberry Cottages, we pride ourselves on providing the best possible customer service and experience when you choose to book one of our cottages for your holiday. With this in mind, we want you to get the most out of your self-catering accommodation, as well as soak in the vibrant past and promising future of Kent and Sussex. Please see our “Things to Do” section for lots of ideas of places to visit in the local area. In addition, as many of our holiday cottages have easy access to the ferries and Eurotunnel, why not take advantage of the proximity to the Continent, and spend a day in France, experiencing the best of French cuisine and lifestyle?
If you choose to travel with Eurotunnel, located just before Folkestone, (exit junction 11A of the M20), you can be enjoying your continental excursion in as little as 35 minutes! Alternatively, if you prefer to go by ferry, several companies such as P&O Ferries, SeaFrance, Norfolkline and LD Lines have regular sailings to Calais, Boulogne, Le Havre, Dieppe and Dunkirk.
There is so much to see and do in France within easy reach of the Channel ports, with attractions such as Nausicaa National Sea Centre in Boulogne, the smart and elegant seaside town of Le Touquet on the Cote D’Opale, known as “Paris by the Sea”, as well as the many traditional French markets held regularly in towns throughout the Nord-Pas de Calais region.
With countless diversions to choose from, we are sure you will find something to entice you across “La Manche!”
