Suzanne and Emma from the Mulberry Cottages team have just made a trip up to Birmingham to promote our cottages at the ‘Best of Britain and Ireland travel trade fair’, which had a great turn out and was really busy. Armed with 2 suitcases full of our new brochures we made our way up to the NEC Birmingham for a 10am start, so we had a very early wakeup call!
The NEC was divided up into regions, which made it easy to find your way around. We managed to find the Visit Kent stand that had the most stunning photos that they had commissioned Saatchi and Saatchi to take for their latest campaign.
Visit Kent were promoting the brand new Kent crisps from Quex Foods, we recommend the oyster and vinegar flavor, lovely! Surrounding the Visit Kent stand were some of Kent’s famous attractions including Hever Castle, Penshurst place and gardens, Dickens World in Chatham and the Turner Contemporary all had great stands with loads of information for visitors to take away.
Julian Barnes from the Biddenden Vineyards was kind enough to provide refreshments for the official welcoming reception so visitors and exhibitors were able to sample the excellent champagne, cider and apple juice that he makes.
Suzanne and Emma made their way around the trade show showcasing the new brochure to exhibitors and visitors. The brochure was very popular with the visitors who were only too delighted to discuss our holiday cottages and were already planning their next holiday away in one of our cottages!
All in all it was a very successful trip up to Birmingham for the Mulberry Cottages team, we cant wait for next year now!
