Pack your wellies and hiking boots and set off across the varied landscape, taking in the crisp air and far reaching views. Enjoy the rugged coastline at Trevose Head and listen to the roaring sea, or trek from Rock to St Minver ensuring to stop in the three cosy pubs en route to sample the local beer and to loosen the shoelaces.
Head to the Moors and cast yourself back to yesteryear, embracing the views that so many have enjoyed. A spirited bike ride will warm the bones, with plenty of picturesque points to stop and enjoy a hot flask of coffee, you will relish sinking into a warm bath that evening knowing you have embraced the weather whole heartedly.
If you haven’t packed your waterproofs, why not take the chance to top up on culture on a rainy day. The Maritime Museum in Falmouth have a variety of interesting exhibits running throughout autumn and winter. Mermaid: Women at Sea exhibition and Viking Voyagers are but two to consider.
Enjoy a cosy pub in the afternoon or simply curl up next to the log fire in your cosy cottage.
