So when you go on holiday, what do you pack?
That is a good question that many people ask themselves and then very seldom know the answer to. If you are one of those people who likes to pack up all their belongings to come with them to experience the holiday as a joint action, then let us show you how to leave all those bits and bobs behind and really get down to the necessities of packing, so that you can enjoy a light holiday with nothing weighing you down.
Firstly, we can assure you that all of our holiday cottages are equipped with bed linen as well as towels and a change of these is also provided weekly for bookings of two weeks or more. However, we would like to inform you that if you are bringing your own cot then you must also provide your own bedding for sed cot.
Cots and highchairs are available at most holiday cottages listed as ‘Child Friendly’, but please check the website or ask one of our friendly staff to confirm this before your booking. However, please remember that linen is not provided for the cots.
Next step in packing for your holiday is to look at where you may be going. If you were going to stay in one of our many Sussex seaside cottages then we would advise you to bring lots of sun cream, swimming costume and sun glasses. Bring a book or two to devour while you sit back in the sun and breath in the great seaside air. Maybe you like to fish, body board or surf, in which case we would advise you to bring your kit along and give it a go because this is what our holidays are all about.
Another suggestion would be if you were staying and one of our amazing cottages in London. Go out and see the capital and maybe do some of those great touristy activities. Ride on the London eye or explore the back streets to discover some of the great quaint shops and delis that you never knew about before but will now never forget.
Pack your groovy clothes for a wild nightlife or take the children to do some amazing activities at the Chessington World of Adventures Resort or to visit some of the great educational museums.
No matter where you go, what you do or who with, then the most important tool to pack is your camera so that you can take some great shots of these memorable moments!
