One particularly wonderful area of Kent is the coastline from Sandwich to Walmer, just gorgeous!  Explore this area and you will come across the fascinating town of Deal.   Deal is steeped in history having not one but three castles built by Henry VIII, namely Deal, Walmer and Sandown. The first two you can visit and Sandown (only a few stones remain) is on the cycle path that follows the coast path.

With so many golf courses such as the Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club, Walmer and Kingsdown Golf Club and the Royal St George’s Golf Club, you’ll be spoilt for choice!  If you love the idea of having a few days by the sea with golfing friends, we have some great cottages in Kingsdown and cottages in Walmer.

There is nothing quite like being by the sea, miles of sandy beach, the fresh sea air and the swooping gulls make Kent a great place for a short break or a longer holiday.  It is such fun looking at all the coastal cottages, imagining your family loving a break away.

For those who like to go out of high season, our coastal cottages are very good value.  There is plenty to do in winter by the Kent seaside, wonderful coast walks, birdwatching, kite flying,  exploring the villages and towns and trying out some great pubs and restaurants.

Don’t forget how easy it is to get to France from a coastal cottage in Kent, you could easily nip off on a day trip for a delicious lunch and be back for supper!
