The days are getting longer, and February half term in Sussex is almost upon us. The children will be ready for a break from school and it’s a great time to pack the bags and come and stay in a half term cottage and have a break from home!!

Brighton Science Festival runs over the February half term, with workshops such as creating a Marshmallow Tower and finding out about Creepy Crawlies, there will be something for everyone.
For older children and teenagers Bowles Outdoor Centre will get them out of bed! They have 2 dry ski slopes and offer half day courses throughout half term for just £25 and two and three day courses to really get children up and running on their skis! The Observatory Science Centre near Hastings has a busy schedule over half term week with loads of half day workshops such as ‘Curious about Chemistry’, perfect for a rainy day! Why not take the time to explore Hastings properly and stay in the Hastings, Battle and 1066-country.
The Colonnade in St Leonards has the most gorgeous children’s bedroom. with teddy bears included!
Its so lovely to be beside the sea at in the Camber Sands and Rye area, with lots to do in the surrounding area around Windbreak cottage. Enjoy views of sand and sea stretching for miles. Camber Sands is famous for its miles of sandy blue- flag beaches perfect for family bucket and spade holidays. There are also many other seaside attractions available when staying in a holiday cottage in Camber or Rye such as watersports or fishing, and fresh fish and seafood can be bought at the local markets.
