Spending time in a holiday cottage in Canterbury allows you to explore English countryside and seaside too! A short drive from Canterbury you will find coastal towns such as Whitstable where you can enjoy wonderful walks along the beach and a delicious plate of oysters washed down with a glass or two of white wine! Supposedly we should only eat oysters with an ‘R’ in the month, in fact this was a rule made before refridgeration came into fashion, meaning it was a winter or spring activity – but nowadays we eat oysters all year round.
August is an excellent month to have a break. Whether you are looking to book a relaxing late summer holiday now, for October half-term or the winter holidays, Mulberry Cottages will have something for you. Seaside cottages, pet-friendly holiday cottages, short break cottages or Easter cottages, too.
