Clay Pigeon Shooting

Those who are confident of catching trout from the lake might want to take advantage of the short breaks available, otherwise staying the whole week in this beautiful house is strongly recommended. That way you not only maximise your chances of catching something, but also get to experience all that the house and estate can offer you.

Clay pigeon shooting is in high demand in the weeks leading up to the start of the shooting season (October 1st for pheasants, September 1st for partridges) as shooters try to hone their skills, and get ahead of the competition. Meadowhead Sporting Shooting School is not only for the experienced, beginners are their speciality and can be taught all about safe gun handling in a relaxed environment.

Adding to the almost unrivalled level of activities is the nearby Bedgebury Forest which offers GoApe outdoor activities and mountain biking. With activities to suit all generations this is a property to enjoy with family, friends, or both. You may also be surprised to know that a week’s stay in Birch Pavilion, surrounded by the all these local experiences can be for just £17 per person per night during September.
