Grease is the word!

As we approach this funny time of year where the weather can’t make up it’s mind and we long for the long lazy ‘Summer Nights’, what better way of lifting the spirits than hand jiving down to the Marlowe in Canterbury and taking in the 50’s glory of ‘Grease: The Musical’.

Who doesn't get excited when they see that quiff!

Running for two weeks from the 6th March, Grease promises to offer visitors all the classic songs and dance routines (who could forget the dance off or Sonny’s inventive re-imagining of ‘Blue Moon’!) along with some famous faces.  Skating legend and Dancing On Ice judge Robin Cousins guest stars as Teen Angel, alongside Danny Bayne (winner of ITV’s Grease is the Word) as Danny and Carina Gillespie (Grease, Buddy) as Sandy.

So if you’re aching for the original high school musical, ‘hopelessly devoted’ to the hit film or just want to grease some lightning, then a visit to the newly rebuilt, magnificent Marlowe could be just the ticket!

Grease has to be the ultimate guilty pleasure!

Tickets from £19.50, Call 01227 787787 or visit http://www.marlowetheatre.com/page/3040/Grease/121 for more details
