Kent’s coast has inspired generations of British artists, musicians and writers with its infamous white cliffs of Dover and flat, wet landscapes in Romney Marsh. Now you can be inspired too at Kent’s Coastal Week! From the 22nd to the 30th October there will be exhibitions and family events for you to enjoy all over Kent.
One exhibition that is predicted to be a favourite is the JMW Turner exhibition in Margate. Turner was inspired by Margate’s unique quality of light to create beautiful paintings of landscapes with watercolour.
A major exhibition of Turner’s work will run from 28th January to 13th May 2012.
To get up close and personal with the South Eastern coast of Kent, take a boat trip from Ramsgate Harbour or go further into the towns of Kent with the Medway estuary boat cruise at the special price of £15.
The coast in Kent attracts a lot of wildlife which can be enjoyed at the RSPB Dungeness Nature Reserve with activities such as the pebble art day, super shingle wildlife guided walk or get the kids to join the wildlife detective agency in search of mammals!

Mulberry has lots of properties available around the coast. One of our favourites is Smuggler’s cottage in Birchington-on-sea. To take a look at other properties around Kent take a look at our website.
