Go back in time and celebrate Halloween in the Victorian era in Rosaleen. We are calling this a ‘retrovation’ as this house has literally been taken back in time! The 80’s style bathroom and flooring were removed and replaced with, painstakingly sourced, vintage floorboards, floor tiles and historic bathroom fittings – including a beautiful Victorian WC. The three bedrooms are dressed with amazing clothes, hats, shawls and knickknacks from the Victorian era, professionally mixed with some up to date reproduction pieces – can you spot which is which?
If you love stories of Jack the Ripper and Fagin, ghosts and ghouls, you can dim the lights and take yourself back in time! This is the perfect place for a self catering Halloween celebration. Rosaleen has three bedrooms and is situated in the historic town of Rye where you can wander up the cobbled streets and take a pint or two at the local hostelries frequented by the smugglers of time gone by!
