We had such a lovely time this week at Penshurst Place! What a treat to be invited to the opening of The Porcupine Pantry, which is situated in a wonderful old barn at the entrance of the 14th Century Penshurst Place. This means that although it is such a treat to go and look round the 11 acres of gardens, spend time in the adventure playground or enjoy the history inside the house, we can just turn up for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea! With the Weald of Kent Craft & Design Show this weekend, the Porcupine Pantry will come into its own, serving delicious salads and soups, quiches and cakes. It has a lovely atmosphere and is such a peaceful place to sit and enjoy the scenery.
