Join Peter Rabbit and friends at each property for different adventures and a trail around the gardens and woodlands. Birch Pavilion is in the most wonderful position in the middle of a private country estate, not far from Tunbridge Wells.
At Penshurst Place they have created a Maize Maze – one of ‘This is Kent’s’ top 10 things to do in the county, get yourselves lost in a field of maize – lots of eco-fun for all the family! We can help you find a great cottage in the country.
This amaizing entertainment, designed for us by Mazescape, opens for the 2014 school summer holidays from 24th July – 7th September and 13th & 14th September, during our normal Gardens & Grounds opening times. End Cottage in East Sussex is only an hour and a bit from London.
Cool down at Hever Castle’s Water Maze our water maze, just remember to bring a towel! The Water Maze is situated on Sixteen Acre Island, to the north side of the Italian Garden and the lake.
The maze consists of a series of concentric stepping stone walkways sitting over water; at intervals, the stones tilt when stood on and hidden water jets spring into action to soak the unwary visitor. The aim is to reach the stone grotto in the centre without getting wet. Few succeed although it is great fun and challenges young and old alike. There is a wonderful climbing frame play area plus the original maze and the house to explore, which will keep everyone entertained for the whole day. There’s a very good cafe, although many people picnic and pop in for ice creams and coffee. If you need any help with finding the perfect cottage, just call our team on 01227 464958 or email us, we still have some availability for a fun filled holiday with the children!
