Free to enter, you can spend a whole day or an afternoon, wandering the beautiful grounds, which include vast lawn areas (perfect for a picnic), or simply sitting back and taking in the beautiful surroundings. Pets and BBQs are permitted.

If you are a garden lover, walker and explorer, there are plenty of famous and enchanting gardens which can be visited during your stay, including the famous Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens, Goodnestone Park Gardens and The Secret Garden of Sandwich. Throughout the spring and summer months, vibrant and beautiful gardens can be explored whilst also enjoying the traditional English cream tea.

There is much to offer: horse riding alongside the coastline, cycling along the bridal ways or playing golf with a sea view. During the summer months the beaches and rock pools are a perfect place for children to explore, to sand castle building to safe swimming in the bay. St Margaret’s Bay is only 13 miles from The Wing, and is a popular spot with surfers, sailers, kayakers and canoeists. Fish is brilliant there, too.
