The countryside is looking stunning, everything so fresh and bursting with life and we’re just so lucky to have 2 glorious Bank Holidays at this time of year.

Maybe you like the idea of exploring the countryside by foot, if so, we have some wonderful country cottages to stay in dotted all over the south of England, with easy access or or the edge of National Parks such as the South Downs National Park and the Ashdown Forest, the sky’s the limit!  We have lots of baby friendly holiday cottages, which are all set up to make things easier when bringing a baby on holiday. They have cots and high chairs, some even have stairgates, steam sterilisers and baby toys.

Perhaps you and your family are keen on riding?  Why not come down to Sussex, Kent or Hampshire or the South West and join a riding school for a lesson or a lovely hack in the countryside?  Some of our cottages even have livery facilities, which means you can even bring your own horses!! Riding on the beach at Camber Sands

For those who love the beach, this is a great time of year to pack the bucket and spade, there’s a good chance of sunshine so lots of fun for children to have the freedom to run about on the beach and be free.  Pack a delicious picnic and head off with beach games and books for one of our stunning beaches, with such a wonderful coastline, there’s an abundance of beaches to choose. With miles of sandy beaches, sand dunes galore and lovely little beach cafes and pubs dotted around the south coast, you can have a whale of a time, best to pack swimmers, if it’s a boiling hot day you may be tempted to paddle or have a dip in the sea.
