The sparkling Rose Brut made by Chapel Down, of Tenterden in Kent, was among one of 12,000 wines entered into the wine challenge, and one of 406 who won gold. The grapes are hand picked and transported to the winery where they are carefully pressed and fermented for up to 3 weeks.
