RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pro-actively promoting the Mulberry Cottages brand to the market to generate new holiday property valuation opportunities (organically and self-generated)
  • Research and identify new sales leads, developing new business in new and existing areas
  • Attend valuation meetings, negotiating and converting valuations into Mulberry clients.
  • Managing the contracting process to grow new property to the portfolio.
  • Maximize the sales and commercial opportunities with existing owners and other suppliers with ongoing commercial analysis and management of property portfolio performance.
  • Be a true ambassador, for Mulberry Cottages establishing rapport and maintaining healthy relationships.
  • Write quality and engaging content for new properties and assist marketing team in order to maximise sales.
  • Attending networking events and trade fairs; promoting the company to corporate clients, the general public and tourism bodies to help generate sales.
  • Keep abreast with relevant legislative requirements
  • Monitor the competition, prices and activity, providing regular feedback to other team members within the business development team.
  • Provide product training and support internally by promoting new and existing properties to the sales team to encourage bookings.
  • Assisting other teams with trouble shooting and problem solving with both paying guests and property owners.

REPORTING AND KPIS

  • Ensure weekly figures are updated and reported to area manager on all KPIs and property pipelines.
  • Monthly conversion rate %
  • Client Retention.
  • Quality standards across the portfolio.
  • Average target commission level %.
  • Holiday sales within your portfolio.

You will need to be:

  • Driven, focused, tenacious and goal seeking with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) together with a motivated and self-starting attitude.
  • Skilled in prioritisation with excellent time management skills.
  • Proven track record within sales, and account management, preferably from within the travel industry.
  • Smart and professional in appearance and presentation.
  • An excellent negotiator with a positive approach and determined attitude.
  • Have a good knowledge of the South East area - desirable.
  • Flexible in your approach to work with the ability to work proactively in isolation when needed.
  • Passionate about providing superb customer service.
  • Able to work to deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package and general computer literacy.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a new business development or account management role.
  • Clean driving license

Salary: OTE up to £32K

  • Mainly out in the field, with regular visits to Mulberry office in Cheltenham. You will be based in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Avon or north Somerset.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To build strong relationships with our property owners, through strong communication and reacting to owner issues immediately. This will involve account queries, re bookings and pricing.
  • To manage revenue generated in your area, individual targets and area targets. Review portfolio monthly to plan forward discounts, price amendments, promotions.
  • Manage bookings on your properties by communicating at all times with the bookings team. Working hard to retain bookings.
  • Managing your portfolio in terms of retaining clients, minimising attrition where possible
  • Problem solving and support for other departments. Assisting marketing in identifying properties to include in offers and promotions. Assisting Customer services with Owner created issues.
  • Business Development support; handle potential new enquiries, collect and collate all documentation for new owners.
  • Manage the end process of contracting a new property; collating paperwork for new property owners; chase and coordinate missing documents and ensure all are collected.
  • Develop relationships with other Cheltenham based businesses to help support and grow the office and its presence within the town.

  • Monitoring daily holiday lets bookings for the region
  • Communicate and respond to daily enquiries
  • Assist with other department such as Customer Services or sales when needed
  • Administration of new properties
  • Ensure accuracy of website content for the region
  • Proof read property descriptions
  • Weekly activity report for Head of Services
  • Assist with photography selection for properties
  • Develop relationships and network with key contacts within the region.

SKILLS

  • Strong organisation skills with great attention to detail.
  • Effective planning skills with the ability to think ahead, foresee and mitigate issues.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.

QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING REQUIRED

  • Graduate level or equivalent preferred but not essential
  • IT literate
  • Experience in a customer facing environment
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Up to £18k + discretionary bonus

Part Time Holiday Sales Advisors

Job Description:

The position of Holiday Sales Advisor requires an experienced and positive sales person. The HSA will deal with enquiries from prospective guests, either via the website or the telephone. An excellent telephone manner and an ability to sell and market holiday cottages, is essential. Cross selling of properties, actively following up enquiries and ultimately achieving the sales targets are a pre-requisite of the job. The Holiday Sales Advisor will be a key member of the busy sales team, answering sales calls, dealing with enquiries and handling complaints and queries in a courteous manner and organising all the relevant paperwork.

The jobholder is responsible for providing a quality response to all enquirers and customers and to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets in line with monthly targets.

Previous experience working in a similar role in the Travel Industry is desirable.


Responsibilities:

  • Providing a quality service to all existing and potential customers.
  • Ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of all bookings.
  • To consistently achieve and exceed conversion of sales enquiries to bookings.
  • Liaise with managers and other booking staff on a regular basis, to ensure all enquires are followed up effectively, maximising booking potential.
  • To consistently strive to increase knowledge of holiday cottages and local areas.
  • To deal with all customer service queries in a courteous and professional manner always taking into account the need to represent the company in the best possible light whilst at the same time achieving an agreed resolution.

Duties:

  • To respond promptly to all enquiries and actively sell the most suitable holiday cottage required for your customers’ needs and wants.
  • To achieve and exceed monthly team and individual targets.
  • Provide a high level of service, using sales skills and product knowledge, to all enquirers.
  • To actively convert all enquiries into bookings.
  • Conduct follow up calls and emails after a quote has been sent.
  • Responding promptly to all correspondence ensuring all replies are consistent, accurate and to a high standard.
  • To carry out special responsibilities allocated to the Holiday Sales Advisor.

Part time working hours:

To work a 18 hours a week within a rota system, between the hours of 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday and between 9am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday. Exact hours can be negotiated but the ideal candidate will work either a Saturday or a Sunday every week and the remaining hours within the week.

Pro Rata Full Time salary £16,000 plus commission. OTE £21,000 pa (Equating to £10,100 OTE 18 hours part time role)
