"Beautiful cottage with really friendly owners. We had a terrific time everything was perfect. Cottage was spotless and highly recommended. Thanks Paul and Fiona"

Paul and Fiona 2016

"A modern yet rustic feel to this comfortable, spotless and well equipped annexe to the owner's home. Paul and Fiona very welcoming as were their spaniels. The alpacas immediately opposite the cottage were curious but rather disdainful at first, although mellowed when we were able to share in feeding them. We had taken our dog and were pleased and relieved to find that there are plenty of walks in the immediate vicinity where a dog can be let off the lead. Paul even has a warm water tap outside to wash down dogs who roll in mud etc. We had tended in the past to drive through Dorset en route to Devon, and so it was a real pleasure to experience the views from some of the hills in that part of the county, the smaller villages and the coast at Lulworth Cove and Chesil Beach. All in all, a perfect place for our three night stay. We certainly recommend Alpaca Cottage."

"Beautifully Newly-fitted Cottage With Open Parkland Views. We enjoyed a fantastic short break in this delightful cottage, in the most peaceful, attractive and wonderful surroundings. The hosts were perfect - extremely friendly and helpful. The cottage was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished, with everything well organised - from the well equipped kitchen to the information folder with thoughtfully listed details of local facilities, walks, places to eat and shop. Well situated. We would have no hesitation in recommending the cottage to everyone and will hope to go back there ourselves very soon."

March 2016

"Fabulous stay"

M June 2014

"Excellent cottage for 2 people. The owners are not just owners, they are hosts. From the welcome we received to the tips they gave us each day on the places to visit whilst on our travels, places to stop for lunch and evening drinks. The cottage has a beautiful view, is well equipped and ideal for older people who need to be on one level. The shower room is spacious, with plenty of storage for clothes and suitcases. The bedroom is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen/living room are light and airy. The alpacas are delightful. A very peaceful retreat and ideal for visiting beautiful Dorset, so many places to see."

"Luxury cottage for 2"

Karen & Phil June 2014

"We recently stayed for a week in this beautiful cottage in a really fabulous location. First impressions are the most important and we had a great welcome from our two hosts. The cottage is spacious and very well presented. Great attention to detail and a really well thought out colour scheme. And the highlight? You can easily spend all day in the walk-in shower! The location is perfect: there is no traffic to worry about apart from the odd passing cyclist. The landscape nearby is exceptional, so it's well worth taking the recommendations of the hosts on-board regarding local walks. The alpacas are very entertaining but nowhere near as much as Sophie the spaniel. Perfectly positioned for a variety of days out. All in all, the epitome of a perfect English break."

"Wonderful Holiday"

Simon & Alison July 2014

"Alpaca Cottage is the perfect rural retreat for one or two people. The location is idyllic and the cottage designed and fitted out to a very high standard. It is ideally situated for accessing both the coastal areas of this beautiful county and more inland locations. The view over the field of alpacas each morning was a delight - as was the greeting from Sophie the spaniel. I would recommend Alpaca Cottage to anyone wanting a quiet and peaceful holiday and hope to return again one day."

The location of the cottage is fantastic in a quiet valley with lots of lovely Alpacas to look at when you wake up in the morning. "Alpaca Cottage is beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much - had everything we needed. I'm missing the alpaca's so much I am now going to order some alpaca wool and start knitting! Many thanks to the owners. We had a great time!"

"Alpaca's I'm in love with!"

October 2014

"Just spent 4 nights at the lovely Alpaca Cottage. It is situated in a perfect area for exploring the whole of the Dorset coast and it didn't seem to take very long to get anywhere. The cottage itself is beautiful - very comfortable and stylish and we would very happily stay for a lot longer than 4 nights. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything you could need. The owners were perfect hosts. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend a stay at Alpaca Cottage."

"First class attractive accommodation where you are made to feel welcome. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bed is comfortable and the en-suite shower room is spacious. Located in a quiet location with attractive views over farmland and with lots of walks from the property. Alpaca Cottage is perfect for both spending time at and as a base for exploring the area."

"A great choice"

RJ April 2015

"Alpaca Cottage is a real find. We've stayed in Dorset a number of times, but this is one of the best venues - and what's not to like about the alpacas. We loved the location - quiet, yet convenient for both inland, and coastal exploration. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is super comfy, and it was nice to have a large walk-in shower. The owners were very pleasant hosts. I strongly suspect we will be returning."

May 2015

"Dorset delight!"

Melissa May 2015

"The barn conversion we stayed in was just what we needed - solitude, peace and quiet! The property was extremely clean, hygienic and was of a high spec. The shower is an overhead which is better than I have at home. The owners were extremely helpful and made great hosts for any advice towards our stay. We will definitely be coming back here and would highly recommend anybody to stay there. Thank you for making our stay very special indeed."
