"We were an extended family of 6 adults and 4 children including a baby.We had a most marvellous Christmas staying for a week at Apple and Plum cottages. It began with a very warm welcome which made us feel very much at home. The cottages looked superb(wreaths on the doors and a Christmas tree in the sitting room)and spotlessly clean and so very warm(important for us as we had relatives from Australia). There was a very generous and exciting welcome pack awaiting us. The cottages were exceptionally well equipped so we had no problem cooking Christmas dinner ;everything we needed was there. After dinner we had they joy of sitting around the log burner. It was perfect! Thank you."

(Apple & Plum) - January 2019

"A brilliant cottage with a lovely, secure garden, which our 7-month Irish Terrier, Eimear, adored. We were a little embarrassed when she chased Lady Hanham off the premises :-(. Eimear also enjoyed some of the windfalls, as did we - apples for pudding everyday. We have even purchased a copy of the very good apple cookery book in the cottage. We were lucky to be able to give Eimear her first taste of the sea on the last day of 'summer' at Studland Bay with lots of other dogs and another taste, by way of contrast, at West Bay, where the colours of the cliffs, sand and dog merged together - the perfect camouflage. A great discovery this time was the 'veg box' from the kitchen garden. We are committed Riverford customers but the selection at Deans Court was exceptional. Thank you to everyone!"

"This is our second visit to Apple & Plum Cottages so that in itself is a great review. A girls trip in the countryside with a pretty town with lively bars and restaurants just a short walk. Hosts were very friendly and each cottage is supplied with a food hamper .... produce from the Estate. We had great fun."

"We have come to love these beautiful cottages. Hidden in idilic surroundings yet just a couple of minutes walk to Wimborne Minster these cottages offer you peace and tranquility. Comfortable, clean and well equipped, a great place to escape. A special mention to the wonderful Deans Court team who are very welcoming and always on hand should you need anything."

July 2018

"Our second time staying at this beautiful cottage, such a peaceful and relaxing place yet a short walk from the centre of Wimborne. We had both cottages booked for our sons wedding and all our friends loved the location and the cottages and all hope to come back."

June 2018

"Had a super time at Apple Cottage, perfect place to relax in by the fire after a long coastal walk!"

February 2018

"Had a wonderful few days in Apple Cottage at Deans Court. We loved the feeling of being away from it all yet so close to Wimborne Minster and all it had to offer. The cottage was a perfect place to stay and fish the River Allen. Much as we'd like to keep this gem to ourselves we can't recommend it highly enough."

November 2017

"The cottage, location and communications were fantastic"

November 2017

"A great spot, somehow secret and special and yet not far from exceptional amenities - the Minster of course, the wonderful gardens behind the Priest's House Museum, Minster Greens, Keatings the Butcher, Le Petit Prince, The Tickled Pig, Black Pug Books to name a few. The tranquil views from all the windows were wonderful too - across the orchard to the Minster, across The Leaze and out of the back door across the garden ...!"

October 2017

"Very lovely place to stay, feels like your in the country but with the convenience of strolling into wimborne. The internal decoration and attention to detail makes for a very comfortable stay. We love staying here!"

September 2017

"Stayed here with our family and grandchildren for our son's wedding and the cottage was beautiful, very well equipped and was a perfect base. Our granddaughter especially loved that the cows came up to the back garden!"
