About Manor Court

Manor Court is a lovely grade 2 listed farmhouse that sits in the extensive grounds of Cold Ashton Manor - a beautiful Elizabethan Cotswold Manor House. A private gravel courtyard surrounded by listed stone barns and outbuildings greets you as you arrive. No longer a working farm and so is peaceful and quiet you can enjoy the private garden to the rear on sunny days for al fresco eating.

The house has just been tastefully restored to a high standard with oak and stone flooring throughout the ground floor, a bespoke kitchen, Everhot cooker and open fire in the drawing room. There is a dining room with table for 8.

Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms with luxury hotel quality beds. The master bedroom has a super king French style Oak bed and views over the private garden and Cotswold countryside.

Between the months of May and October there is also access to the Manor's 12m heated outdoor swimming pool by arrangement. This beautiful pool is covered by a very large airdome and so can be used in all weathers but in hot summers the dome is removed. Guests are also welcome to use the Manor tennis court.

Manor Court is approximately 10 minutes from the world heritage city of Bath by car with its excellent restaurants, art galleries, boutique shopping and exquisite architecture. There are good public houses in the local villages.

It sits close to the Cotswold way surrounded by magnificent countryside for walking in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It sits at the southern end of the Cotswold plateau and a fantastic base for cycling on quiet country lanes.

The owners are dog lovers so well behaved dogs are welcome There is even an outside hot and cold hose for dog showers after muddy walks!

"We left early this morning - hopefully everything is in order in the house! Thank you for letting us stay - we had a wonderful couple of weeks and you and Neil were so welcoming and hospitable. All the best"

Caroline & Aron - August 2018

"Thank you so much for allowing us to rent the Manor House this week. I hope we weren't too noisy! It's the first time we have all been away together (the girls and my dad) since my mum died. (Dad vowed never to go away again!) Anyway we persuaded him to come with us and we have all had a lovely time. Pete was diagnosed with metastatic prostrate cancer in January and is going to start radiotherapy in August - he has completed the chemotherapy...so you can imagine the importance of us having a wonderful time with our babies, including the fur ones! I can not exaggerate how perfect this holiday has been (probably helped by the weather) and I can't thank you all enough. Thank you again."

Bernice & Family - July 2018

"We had an amazing time! Hope to do it again someday"

Kathy - November 2018

"The house is beautiful, having a lovely time. Thank you for the lovely facilities and great stay so far at manor court."

"Thanks Kate we loved our stay in your beautiful home !"
