About The Moors Coach House

This lovely little converted coach house building is on the edge of the grounds of a country house, just 12 minutes drive from Winchester city centre. We love this newly renovated light and airy building that has a downstairs sitting room with a comfy 'sink into' sofa and sleek white kitchen / dining area which is kitted out with two ovens and a coffee machine.

Upstairs is a luxury bedroom and en suite shower room. There is a table and chairs outside on a gravelled area for you to enjoy your afternoon tea in the glorious sunshine!

The pretty village of Twyford has your closest pub called the 'Bugle', as well as a great village shop with coffee shop serving wonderful pastries! Shawford mainline train station is a 5 minute drive for easy access to London and Winchester if you don't have a car.

The Moors Coach House is a perfect Hampshire holiday rental and will suit couples, tourists or professionals needing to work in the area.

"Thank you to Leigh and Gavin for a wonderful stay at the Coach house over the New year - a lovely stay before our 2018 wedding! Beaulieu Motor Museum is well worth a visit, only a 30 minute drive away, as well as Marwell Zoo (approx 10 minutes) and Winchester has some lovely shops. We had a lovely dinner at the Bugle in Twyford and The Bridge Inn at Shawford (5 min drive). We really wish we were staying longer - this place is a real hidden treasure and we're so glad we found it. See you again in the warmer months."

Serena and Matthew - January 2018

"We spent a wonderful Xmas holiday at The Moors Coach House. We were welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco and the 2 Xmas trees (Yes! Not one!) were already lightened up. The hospitality simply went beyond our expectations. The house is of decent size as a base and the necessities are there. We found the oven very useful for me to prepare breakfast in the morning too. We highly recommend this place to our friends and if we were coming to Hampshire again we'd definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!"

Patrick and Annett - December 2017

"Thank you for our lovely stay at The Moors Coach House. You've decorated everything so beautifully; it's been a real pleasure to relax here. For future visitors, if you like walking, park at the Church and you have the lovely Berry Meadow to explore - I loved the river walk the best. Also a pint and a meal at the Bugle really is worth a visit. Enjoy."

Gail and Jim - December 2017
