About Pinkmead Estate
'If you're after a tucked-away, dog-friendly paradise it's hard to imagine a better retreat in the south of England, a place where the only traffic 'noise' comes from the Cowes-to-Newport bicycle path. On a sunny summer's day this is a dreamlike spot for a long weekend with friends or family, and it proved just as enjoyable in bad weather. At the heart of the property is a three-bedroom main house, beautifully and comfortably furnished, whose greatest feature is the huge garden room complete with electric baby grand piano and views across to the River Medina.' - Country Life (January 2019)
'This spectacular estate on the Isle of Wight is truly stunning. Think private manicured lawns, thick woodland, glittering lakes and pretty lagoons home to wild Canadian geese, swans, herons, owls, woodpeckers and red squirrels. Open plan interiors make it a sociable stay.' - Woman & Home (December 2018)
If you are reading this you are one step closer to visiting a truly unique holiday retreat situated in one of the most delightful and peaceful locations imaginable. Your very own private estate of 24 acres to explore and enjoy with uninterrupted riverside views. Pinkmead Estate offers a relaxed stay and is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy quality time with your close friends and family.
The property offers all the comforts of home with 3 bedrooms - 2 kingsize and one twin (that can be made a super king by prior arrangement), a generous sitting room with conservatory in which to relax and soak up the panoramic views. The main property also provides a shower room and modern kitchen.
Should more space be required a sofa bed can be arranged in the Kitchen Garden Studio, a separate studio just steps from the main property.
With so much to explore within the estate you may never want to leave, but you should as the Isle of Wight is a real gem in the Solent and easily small enough to explore by car, on foot or by bike with the estate being the only property on the island to be on the Cowes to Newport cycle track. Wildlife fans are in for a real treat with the estate (seasonally) home to Canadian Geese, Herons and even a few woodpeckers! If the gourmet treat is more your style, private chefs can be arranged for bespoke supper club experiences by prior arrangement. If the tide is up and you want to arrive in style private boat charters from the mainland can be organised (P.O.A.)
