The Stables is a converted Kentish barn which has been finished to a high standard and is located on a working farm in Kent. A tranquil self catering holiday cottage with use of a shared tennis court and fishing is available on the farm. It would make a wonderful location for a walking holiday in Kent as it is surrounded by plenty of footpaths. With a traditional log burning stove The Stables would make a lovely location for a weekend break or longer cottage holiday.

"Thank you for organising the pantomime on the 29th December, it was really fun! Lovely to all be together this Christmas thank you for letting us stay at your cottage we loved it!"Christmas 2016
"It was lovely staying in your cottage. Thank you for your warm welcome and your hospitality. Your cottage really is the best ever, very cosy and comfortable. Everything you could need and more is there. Although you hear the road outside, it is totally quiet inside. Canterbury Cathedral was great to visit, the coast is beautiful in Hythe. We had nice walks along the canal and in the woods. There is so much to see around here that we could easily come back."May 2017
"Thank you so much for letting us stay in your wonderful cottage. It was perfect for our family and had everything we could possibly need. A special thank you to Torbin for showing the kids the tractors and letting them ride them. Highly recommend Port Lympne, Camber Sands, Bodiam Castle and the Steam train. Many thanks!"April 2017
"We've had the most wonderful week in this lovely cottage. We've loved the facilities and the hospitality provided by the owners and their family. The children have told us it is their best UK holiday ever (and we have had a few) and Bramble the dog really enjoyed herself. We hope to return soon."October 2016
"We have had a wonderful week exploring Kent in the warm sunshine- very lucky! The boys got a one man dingy from the beach shops at Dymchurch and had a great time messing about in the sea. They also enjoyed trying their hand at rowing at Hythe, on the Military Canal. Ben had his 9th birthday and we enjoyed a tasty meal at the Woolpack Inn. It was so good we went back on Friday night. We would recommend the trips to Sittinghurst, Scotney, Leeds and Dover Castle- for their gardens as much as the castles history. Rye and Tenterden were good for a mooch around with some lovely shops."May 2017
"This was our 5th stay at your beautiful cottage and again we enjoyed it very much. We could not complain about the weather; although it was a bit 'fresh' it was almost dry all week. So again we were able to explore this part of Kent. We made 7 walks and of course it was good to see the both of you again. We hope to be back again next year."April 2017
"This cottage is absolutely beautiful, one of the best that we've ever stayed in. The cottage had everything we needed and all of good quality, which we really appreciated. The beds were comfortable and the ensuite bathrooms had great showers (always a plus). Our friendly hosts provided a toy ride-on tractor and car for our 2 year old grandson, together with the cot and high chair that we requested and nothing seemed too much trouble. We'd definitely recommend this cottage. Thank you!"August 2015
"Very helpful and easy booking."April 2015 - Mrs F. Hughes
"A beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings. Ideal for those who love the countryside and being able to walk the dogs straight from the cottage into the woodland. All that was needed like home from home."March 2014
"We really enjoyed our holiday at The Stables. The cottage was perfect, as was the lovely location. The owners were very kind and helpful. Our two dogs loved all the country walks and bluebell woods!"May 2013
"Superb cottage and very hospitable, friendly owners. Didn't really want to return home - a most enjoyable break with a bit of fishing thrown in. Bliss!!!"Norman Farthing, June 2012
"We stayed at The Stables with our 2 small children and had a perfect holiday. The cottage was warm and welcoming and in a beautiful location. We found ourselves roaming through bluebells at the bottom of the garden and our little boy thought he was in heaven when the fabulous owners took him for a tractor ride, let him work their model railway and lent him a toy tractor for the week! Highly recommended."Mrs BOLTON
